I have a few tripods, but this is my favorite. It folds up well and I love that it extends so tall - taller than me (I’m 5’6) - so I can take photos/videos from a high angle. It holds my phone with ease and securely. Yep…this is the one!

2023-12-01. Phone tripod by SelfieShow. 75 inch. Selfie stick. Remote. Phone holder. Aluminum. 360° rotation. iPhone, Android, GoPro. Black. I ordered this because it advertised as being both a tripod and a selfie stick AND that it had your standard screw mount (like all tripods do). I liked the versatility of being able to mount cameras, cell phones, and GoPro's all in one. The tripod is made of aluminum and extends to a whopping 75 inches (6'3"). The base opens nice and wide and a tightening wheel holds it in place for stability. Since there is quite a bit to cover with this tripod/selfie stick, I'll get right to the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly... The Good: The 75" extendable length The standard screw mount The mounting accessories (GoPro, Cellular phone, other standard peripherals like cameras, video recorders, etc.) Materials and construction (aluminum with minimal plastic) Remote control (via Bluetooth connection) 3V button cell (CR2032) battery and extra battery included The Bad: Length is a little long when fully collapsed (portability factor) Cellular phone clamp is not as powerful as others on the market There is no built-in holder for the remote when not in use There is no carry or storage case to protect it when not in use There is no built-in light of any kind The Ugly: Extending and retracting the tripod is very stiff. Remote control has a tiny screw (see pic) to secure the battery cover. You will need to carry a screw driver with you should you need to swap out the battery. Overall, as a tripod, this unit works great. However, when collapsed, it is a little on the lengthy side. The cellular phone clamp is also a tad loose so as a selfie stick, you'll need to take a little extra caution with movement and bumps. There is also no built in light of any kind so that's also a strike with using it as a selfie stick. Usability wise, extension and retraction is very stiff, and I'm hoping it will loosen a little with time (but I'm not too hopeful that it will in all honesty). And the fact that there is no place to mount the remote when not in use, means you will need to store it in your pocket or some other place when not using it. Finally the lack of any type of storage case or bag means you will need to encumbered to carry those accessories on you some other way. While the cons ever so slightly edged out the pros, the tripod itself is functional, and for that, I'm going to give it a passing grade.

This is a nice, simple tripod. It's easy to set up and pretty sturdy. It holds our phones securely. The remote is cool and connected to my phones Bluetooth easily.

This is a cool tripod that's easy to set up and use. The ability to use it as a selfie stick or is a tripod is super convenient. I'm really glad I got this because I'm always trying to take pictures of things that I'm making and doing or of my girls and getting a still hand is not always possible when juggling so many things. Using it as a selfie stick can be a little awkward because it's a little on the heavier side but not impossible to use it that way. The remote works great, you just have to pair it with your phone. It's not hard to use at all, just takes a little fiddling to get it just right like any tripod, but the adjustable height allows quite a bit of flexibility. It's really sturdy I've had no issues with it toppling or holding my device securely. Not bad for the price tag
