I ordered the California King for the main bedroom. It fits unlike other California King comforters that I own. This one is actually large enough so that my hubby and I are not tugging at it to stay covered. This comforter has just enough extra width so that it falls in place lower than most. With a cover attached, I can use this as a topper, or bedspread. This California King is not overly cumbersome or heavy. I don’t like heavy comforters as I feel they suffocate my body when I’m sleeping. This one is perfect. Not too light and not too heavy. This is the ideal comforter. That’s because the inner stuffing/ filling makes this comforter comfortable for all seasons. I like the convenience of not changing the comforter every time the weather changes. The cotton shell, combined with the filling makes this warm during the colder months and cool during the warmer weather. The comforter alone is durable. It has end tabs for attaching a duvet cover. I like the addition of a duvet cover because it increases the longevity of the comforter. This is a piece that will require dry cleaning from time to time. And that’s not a concern considering the economical price of this comforter. I also have the xl King for the guest room. Same quality except I am having a time locating a duvet cover for this size. My traditional king size duvet covers do not fit quite right. Thanks for reading !

When I received this down comforter, I left it in a well-ventilated area for a day, and it quickly regained its fluffiness. When covering my body, it feels very light. Once I lie under it, the light yet enveloping feeling is very noticeable, almost like being surrounded by a soft cloud. It doesn’t feel heavy on the body at night, and it provides great warmth, making sleep especially comfortable. The fabric is pure cotton, which feels very comfortable directly against the skin, without any roughness or stuffiness. After using it for a while, I haven’t noticed any down feathers poking out, which is quite reassuring. It’s also very breathable, so it doesn’t feel stuffy while sleeping at night.
