Rubber wood top is not wood! It splits easily. The table base is really well made, and a good value for what it costs, but rubber wood does not hold up like real wood. I'd be willing to pay a little more to have a real wood top.

I want to share my experiences and provide some insight. I purchased the 70 inch work bench for multi role purpose in a home office . Be aware. This product is heavy and packed really tight and efficiently making it extremely difficult to repackage if a return is needed. In my case the product had a defect and the screw holes of the top and frame did not line up. I contacted seller and another product was shipped and A return label was requested and granted however if was NOT prepaid. Im told shipping could cost more than the bench itself. I have sent a second email. No response as of yet. I will update this review if and when action is taken and a solution is presented. *Issue resolved* I received a replacement order and not charged anything additional. The product itself is great. Strong, stable, versatile, attractive, etc. I’m not sure how or why the first order missed Quality Control and shipped out but I’m happy with the product, price, and ease of assembly. Not too happy with how difficult Amazon makes the return/Refund process but in the end the seller took care of my needs. I would recommend this product. *Updated Again* Today I woke up to discover I was charged $239.99 for the defective product I was told I could discard. This whole purchase has been a huge pain and has taken far too much of my time.

We just built this table and it was very easy to build and is a very good design. Unfortunatley the top is scratched and a dime size piece of laminent is gone and one end is cracked all the way thru. Also one of the edges is very, very rough appx. 5inches long.

They are Packaged very well so the Scratches and Small Dings were done before Packaging and should have been caught and switched out. The Design and Strength are good enough for a nice Desk, I wish it was 24” Wide and that you could switch the Power Strip from Side to Side to Work Better in my Application but all in all it is fine. Thanks
