The seller is awesome. I had some concerns about the rug because it had a line of grass that was missing just on one edge but that is to be expected from the cutting process. They were more than ready to make everything right and just them caring so much about customer satisfaction makes me happy. I am keeping the item and am happy to do business with this company again. The grass looks very good! It is pretty easy to cut especially with some thick scissors. Scissors might be better than a straight edge just so you do not cut the parts that actually hold the grass together.

Our balcony is just gray pavement, which not only blends in with the gray sky & water, but is also very hot for bare feet. This turf was easy to trim to size (must vacuum to get the little bits) and looks & feels excellent. It’s very soft and gives our place nice natural lighting. It came with a bit of a factory smell, but after a few hours in the sun, it’s undetectable. The bottom is porous enough that it shouldn’t trap water. Overall recommend, makes our balcony a much cozier place to be!! The only thing I would change is the variation in color. There are some curly beige bits in there that add to the realism, but otherwise it looks a teeny bit “too perfect” (though I suppose that’s a side effect of most turf).

Relatively flexible and easily cut to size. So far it works well when underlain by a weed control fabric. It allows clearing of vegetation debris by a blower if it's staked down by landscape staples. Of course it doesn't look like real grass but is a good substitute if placed in inconspicuous areas. It did fray on cut lines a little and maybe worse if moved around much. I have been warned that it can heat up in summer and impact new shrub health, but it wasn't obviously impactful last summer.
