    • Don't buy just for the free Dash Cam. Dash Cam power button broke in less than 2 months.
I did contact the Seller about the Dash Cam power button broke and they replied back that I could have it wired wrong. Really? It was working fine for a 1.5 months and now it can not be turn on or off and the Seller said it is because of a wiring issue? THE POWER BUTTON IS BROKE, PURE AND SIMPLE. I have not received back a reply to my reply. At this point it looks like they will not do anything about it. I'll edit if they do. Another other issue that was disappointing that the radio doesn't have RDS/RBDS. I like knowing the name of the song and artist as well. The rear camera is fine. Android Auto seems to works ok. It's not wireless. Have to use a cable to connect. Bluetooth is fine. Have not used a SD card. Would I buy again? No. Update 5/31/23: I did receive 2 replacement Dash Cams of the same model. Which was a pleasant surprise. The seller was actually fairly prompt on replying to the review and helping get the replacement sent to me. I was looking for a cheap radio to install in my 2012 Honda Civic as I do not know how much longer I will be keeping this car. I found this one and decided to give it a try. I was not expecting much, it just needed Bluetooth and Carplay as an option for longer drives. So far this radio delivered on that. It was mostly easy to install. I was not very confident in the support as I wanted to display my car logo and make sure the software was up to date. I contacted them on Facebook messenger and they responded that same day. They emailed me the new firmware and I just installed it on a USB, plugged it into my radio, installed it and reset the radio and everything worked. Also, their support contacted me a few days later to check in that the installation went smoothly and that there were no issues. The only issue I had was that the Amazon listing does not clearly state that the Carplay is wired, NOT WIRELESS. I assumed that since it had Bluetooth the Carplay would be wireless. This is probably mostly my fault but I think it could be more clear in the listing that Carplay/Android Auto is WIRED ONLY. I did not realize this until the radio had already shipped. But, with the money I saved buying this radio I was able to buy a cheap wireless Carplay adapter and plug that into the radio and now I have wireless Carplay. Another issue I had was to make sure to do your research online for installing radios and making sure you have all the parts you need. I also had to buy am ASWC-1 controller to keep my steering wheel controls and you will have to do research on how to install and connect it to your radio and car. There is a youtube playlist that is recommended in the installation guide that has a video on how to do that along with other videos that may help. I also had to tap into my illumination wire from my hazard lights button to get the radio backlight dimming due to my car not having one for the radio. I found this out after installing the radio and I had to take everything out and reinstall it again. To sum up everything, this is a good radio for the price. I also installed the dashcam and backup camera which was not that difficult after watching a couple of videos on how to do so. Everything was mostly easy to install with help from doing your own research prior to installing. So, I would say it was worth the price. I have not tried all the features yet or run into any other issues, but I will make an update if anything comes up. ... show more

    • Great system for the price
We replaced the OEM radio in our 2013 Honda CRV with this unit and was immediately impressed by the build quality and ease of use of the new system. We wanted to customize the Logos on the unit and got excellent and prompt support from the manufacturer who embedded our logos on a new firmware file and sent it swiftly out to us. With CarPlay, I am able to play music from my iPhone seamlessly and control what tracks are played from the touchscreen on the unit. With both front and backup cameras included, this is good value and a fully functional system. ... show more

    • Good in some ways, annoying in others
Things I like about this radio: 1) It's cheap. 2) There's an actual, honest-to-goodness knob for adjusting the volume. (Yes, it's old school, but it's easy to use while driving. You don't have to take your hands off the wheel to find it on a touch screen.) 3) It integrates with Android Autoplay pretty well. 4) It includes a rear view camera (not yet installed since I need to order an extension cable) and a front dash-camera. 5) Contrary to Amazon's recommendation, this unit DOES fit a 1999 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Things that aren't great but I can deal with: 1) The microphone isn't great so a lot of voice dictation (Siri/Google) gets garbled. I recommend adding an external mic. Phone sound quality is inconsistent - sometimes good, sometimes not, even during the same call. 2) The HOME button is a tiny target to hit, especially if you have a USB cable plugged in. (Hint: get a right-angle USB plug.) 3) There's no CD player, which I knew when I bought it, so not really a complaint. 4) The front dash cam's file naming system lacks a uniqueness modifier, so if it momentarily loses power, the recordings end up having duplicate file names. 5) Support via Facebook is a crummy way to go. I used e-mail instead, which was kinda-sorta okay. 6) Upgrading the firmware was pretty easy but you have to reset the unit afterwards which wipes out all your settings, including your radio station presets. Take a screen shot before you reset. Things that suck: 1) The MicroSD card and USB sticks can hold music, which is one reason I bought this unit, but according to tech support, you cannot organize the music logically in folders and subfolders like artist/album/*.mp3. You must store everything no more than one folder deep. Nor can you choose to play just one album, one artist, or one play list. In effect, the music player feature is USELESS. The work-around is to load up your phone with tracks and use the phone's music player. 2) Some of the touch-screen elements are hard to activate, especially along edges of the screen. Overall: For the price, this is a decent combination. I wish, however, I'd spent a little more and bought a better unit. ... show more
