As a woman of color, don't you dislike shopping online and only seeing reviews regarding European women? No shade, but some products do not look great on our skin. Case in point: Beauty Glazed Matte Liquid Lipstick. I put all six colors on my outer arm (where we tend to be more melaninated from the sun) to see how they look with my undertones. The first two are a hard pass but I can use them in conjunction with other shades to create custom colors. The second two were better and maybe can be used when I wear my lips two-toned (upper lip different color from bottom). The last two were slam dunks! Right on the money with my mahogany skin. These are good enough to stand alone. Now for the product performance; there is a marked difference between how to product felt on my arm vs lips. The reason for that is we tend to moisturize our lips with oil before applying the lip color. I use organic unrefined coconut oil. While oil made it glide on smoothly, it also made the product sticky. I noticed the arm samples dried completely and refused to budge. There was no oil on my arm. The color stuck so well to my arm I had to forcefully scrub with a makeup remover cloth to get all of it off. However, my lip color smudged and became tacky. The difference is the application of oil. Do not put oil on before the color and it will stay put without being sticky. The colors smell like chocolate though there is no flavor. Overall, the product is good. ... show more

These are very pigmented, long lasting but drying. The matte is VERY matte. The color scheme, even when mixing colors didn't work for me. For someone else this is a good buy or gift.

Love these! Two of the six colors were not something I'd wear normally, but the other four were beautiful and for the price point, I'm thrilled with that. I like how it dries matte but still gives you plenty of time in the liquid stage to wipe mistakes. It doesn't transfer onto teeth or onto other people - it does transfer onto glasses due to the liquid, but that's expected. It's also not too hardy. I've had lipstick that dried like this and was really difficult to remove. Once you get this wet, it's super easy to wipe off. Just beautiful, fun to wear, great for every day. purchased a couple years ago for a niece, all was good. Reordered this year and package came damaged and appeared used. Opted for a replacement instead of full refund. Replacement product is DRY, HARD AND UNUSABLE, so I tossed in trash. Cost almost the price of product to return and not worth the gas for a 1.00 drop off. ... show more

These lipsticks are a must grab for the price and quality. The colors range from subtle to bold, and they provide full coverage to the lip. They are a smaller size, but enough to last for quite a while should you wear many colors. They glide on smooth, smell like cocoa, and it lasts!!! I was not very hppy with the quality of these lipstains. It smells chalky and dries your lips. It’s not very moisturizing. The smell of chalk goes to your tastebuds as well.
