So these are excellent travel scissors. They are more compact than kitchen scissors but still big enough for almost any utility task. The blade fit is good and seems sturdy. Great cutters. The sheath really stays on, which can works to protect back packs, purses, etc. Honestly, these are the best of this kind of item we've tried. There is only one issue. The sheath requires a little bit of strength and coordination to get on and off. So it might be challenging for younger children or people with hand issues like arthritis.
