  • Heavy and strong thick handle
This doesn’t work like a garden weasel as the times don’t cross each other. However it’s very portable and really works up the soil. I think it works better the day after a rain. Not ideal for hard packed soil but that’s not what it’s for. This quickly works up soil between rows to keep weeds out and allowing water to absorb to the roots faster. When it clogs it isn’t a big deal to clean up. The handle is nice and wide and stays together. You would never know it was screwed together. I was able to use it the last 2 days and it does what I want it to do. So far im happy with it. ... show more

  • Great for cultivating small areas or around plants!
Great small cultivator for getting around obstacles or plants. The small size of the cultivator tines is ideal for smaller areas or between rows of plants. I quickly tilled the area around my security sign to test it out. It works great for soil that was previously loosened but will be just as effective for areas with vegetation, just with a little more effort involved. One of the biggest pluses will be not having to get up and down as much, the long handle allows me to use the cultivator standing! This is the ideal tool for bed maintenance or smaller areas! The tines are sharp so use caution. Assembly was quick, screw the pole sections together and install the bolts in the cultivator head, tightening with the included socket wrenches. I will get a lot of use from this cultivator. ... show more

  • Handle comes loose.
Just received the cultivator yesterday, 6/5/25. I put it together this morning to use it in the back yard. I'm giving it 4 stars because the sections that make up the handle come loose after a vigorous workout on a small patch of ground. I may need to put a couple of small bolts or metal screws in the handle to keep it from coming loose. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality
I'm so pleased with the quality of this cultivator tool! It feels heavy duty and sturdy. It works great in my garden beds and is useful in many other areas of my yard. It was simple to put together and can be adjusted to the length you would need. Overall, just a fantastic value for the price. I couldn't be happier! ... show more

  • Strong with sharp teeth
Georgia clay can break down most any hoe or shovel, but this tiller / cultivator does the job. It is still a bit of effort, since the clay doesn't admit defeat easily, but now my garden area is ready for planting.

  • Great gardening tool
I was skeptical about using one of these manual tillers after having grown up using my dad's that barely churned up the soil. This tiller was very easy to assemble, feels relatively sturdy, and worked wonders on my raised garden bed I'm getting ready for vegetables. It was fairly easy to use, and churned up soil and cut up roots really well. It was honestly kind of satisfying to use, just because it worked so well. ... show more

  • Handy Cultivator
I chose this cultivator to loosen the soil in my garden and help with weed removal. This cultivator arrived unassembled, but it was easy to assemble and included the tools necessary for assembly. Once assembled, this cultivator feels sturdy. When I first tried using it on a garden I wanted to weed, the ground was very dry, and it took both hands to apply the necessary force. However, after a light rain, it was much easier to use, so I suggest that if you have dry, compacted soil, you lightly water the area first. I also plan to use this cultivator to help me spread mulch. I am happy with this cultivator and recommend it. ... show more
