It’s a plug and play device, it supplies power to the surface, nothing rattles inside the power brick. It is built pretty much just as a replica of the OEM, hard to tell any difference. No voltage issues or burnout, been using it daily. Wire is built from the same material as the original. Connector is same as original and has magnetic ends to attach to the surface with no issue. I purchased in August 2023. As of today, May 1, 2024, the connection into my laptop doesn’t work unless I hold wire & connection at a certain angle Worked fine until a couple of days ago. Extremely poor quality.
