Was looking for a combo of items designed solely for picking up leaves efficiently and effectively...and this was it. Every item is decent quality and was very easy to put together. The hardest thing was putting in the metal band in the top of the leaf container but once you get started....you figure out what works to complete the process. The hidden gem was the plastic "giant hands" for scooping up the leaves off the ground. I think we've all done the hand against rake pick-up process....where the disparity of size has a frustratingly large number of leaves returning to the ground as you hastily try and get as many leaves into the container as possible before they all fall out. With the large hands...you can pick up a great amount of leaves and smoothly transport them to the container with hardly any leaves falling out. Plus, the hands are smaller than the opening of the container so you can slide into it and drop the leaves such that they ALL fall into it....as opposed to the hand-rake method where the rake typically is too big to place inside the container at all and some leaves fall back to ground. The large hands have a simple plastic strap on each one to insert your hand into and it's a good combination of tightness, but looseness that you never worry about them falling off or struggling to get them off in order to move on to your next step not involving the large hands. Finally, because of the size of the hands...you can use them to push down on the leaves in the container to make additional space for your next leaf dump into it. The rake is light and of high quality. The metal tines are durable and work very well on uneven ground. I was raking leaves off a gravel driveway and was impressed that the rake was effectively moving the leaves but hardly moved the gravel. Overall...I'm really quite pleased with this purchase.

I played around with this after it arrived. The rake was easy to assemble and sturdy than what I thought it would be. The paddles/claws I had never used before, but they make picking up a pile of leaves much easier and can be used to compress the leaves in the bag. The bag holds a fair amount of leaves and even more so when compressing.

best rake I've ever owned. sturdy, well built finally a metal rake that won't fall apart and the bag that comes with it with the two hand shovels fantastic makes the job so much easier so much worth 20 bucks

I like the long handle of the rake, I'm 6'2" and sometimes the handles are short and you need to bend while using them which is not optimal for an old back. The rake works well and the handles don't twist out when used. It goes together easily, and can be configured shorter if you just leave one handle piece out. The only problem I had was with the leaf grabbers. They were obviously made for people with smaller hands...or big children...
