Nice lttle things - the bottle opener, the drain has a good, large nob and the cooler empties completely and quickly. Excellent handles. Nothing that I do not like either. My husband had a basic Coleman cooler that I accidentally ran a round saw through (different story). So I wanted to replace it with something nice to make up for my mistake. In doing so, I wanted to invest in something that was going to perform well and take some abuse, but I didn't want Yeti or alike prices. I read a ton of reviews and specs of various similar models and brands, and settled on this one. It did not disappoint. Seriously... we've had a bunch of coolers, and I've looked at the "other brands" similar to these, like Y E T I, but always shied away at the $400+ price tag of those. This has to be just as good, but so much better priced. We used it in hot weather in Idaho, and the ice lasted all week long. We have the 55qt unit too, and kept extra blocks of ice in it. We didn't even break into that till day 7. And that was only because we were leaving and had extra room in this one (having eaten most of the food), just to make sure it stayed cold for the trip home. This cooler is a game changer for us... no worry of running out of ice. Just keep it in the shade and it will last all week at moderate to warm temps, and lots of trips to the cooler. I'm sure we opened it 6-8 times a day and still had ice in it after 7 days. WOW. :) ... show more

The cooler itself is great and we're excited to use it; however, the packaging for shipping had no padding or protection so when it arrived there was a big scuff/scratch right on top of the lid. So, my brand new cooler already has a blemish.

I couldn’t bring myself to pay $300 for a cooler, but needed one that could keep ice for several days during our trip to Burning Man. This fit the bill! Note, these coolers are bigger and MUCH heavier than your regular picnic coolers. Love the screw off drain cap and the rubber ‘locks’ worked great. Others commented on the hinges being a weak point so I was careful never to let the lid fall back all the way on its own weight. It easily kept ice for several days in 100’+ temps. ... show more
