Seriously... we've had a bunch of coolers, and I've looked at the "other brands" similar to these, like Y E T I, but always shied away at the $400+ price tag of those. This has to be just as good, but so much better priced. We used it in hot weather in Idaho, and the ice lasted all week long. We have the 55qt unit too, and kept extra blocks of ice in it. We didn't even break into that till day 7. And that was only because we were leaving and had extra room in this one (having eaten most of the food), just to make sure it stayed cold for the trip home. This cooler is a game changer for us... no worry of running out of ice. Just keep it in the shade and it will last all week at moderate to warm temps, and lots of trips to the cooler. I'm sure we opened it 6-8 times a day and still had ice in it after 7 days. WOW. :) ... show more

Best cooler I have owned! Due to its size and no wheels, we kept it in the truck when camping at the beach. I did refill with bagged ice 2x during the week but some of the block ice stayed the whole week. I also added warm drink cans, so it had to cool them down which accounted for needing more bagged ice. In previous years with other coolers, we had to buy ice every day. Not anymore! I recommend! ... show more

I wanted a yeti. never saw a sale. I kept shopping and comparing, finally "settled" on this cooler. I saved more than 200 bucks. Works great. Ice lasted a week, well built. Nice lttle things - the bottle opener, the drain has a good, large nob and the cooler empties completely and quickly. Excellent handles. Nothing that I do not like either. Oh, and I love the latches! really seals shut. If I let a little water out while closed it seals like a vacuum seal. You don't need the yeti. ... show more

The cooler itself is great and we're excited to use it; however, the packaging for shipping had no padding or protection so when it arrived there was a big scuff/scratch right on top of the lid. So, my brand new cooler already has a blemish.

My husband had a basic Coleman cooler that I accidentally ran a round saw through (different story). So I wanted to replace it with something nice to make up for my mistake. In doing so, I wanted to invest in something that was going to perform well and take some abuse, but I didn't want Yeti or alike prices. I read a ton of reviews and specs of various similar models and brands, and settled on this one. It did not disappoint.
