Alright, so I got the desk without all of the extras so just the base $300 one, it's L-Shaped and yes it goes up and down, the desk itself is definitely my favorite desk I have ever owned, giving me plenty of room and space for probably up to 3-4 monitors, I have two monitors one 32" and one 42" one and still plenty of space for another or something else even with my computer up on the desk. --- The Cable management system is in a prime position, I'd recommend a surge protector with an extra long cable to rest in the spot where the cord management box sits. Just because raising it to the top can be a little tight. I'm 5'9 so I never have to go all the way up, but definitely worth while. The Desk overall looks nice enough with it's fancy carbon fiber display, but the wood is not high quality but it is good enough quality that you won't really care especially for an only $300 price tag, I saw some stuff at Costco that wasn't as nice for $500-600. Pros: This is the best cup-holder on a desk I've ever seen. I never thought I'd be happy about a cup-holder but honestly, I may never buy another desk again just because of how great the placement and design of this cup-holder is, absolutely phenomenal, if they ever stop making this desk, I may just rebuild this one time and time again just for this sweet sweet cup-holder... Desk is cool too, no issues yet, I know some people have said they have issues after a month or two with it lifting, I'll check back if I have issues and follow-up with support and get back to y'all if I have issues. The Headphone holder is neat too, I have my Meta Quest 3 with both controllers on one hook, and my Arctis Pro Wireless series on the other hook and looks clean and holds them well, even with going up and down. Cons: The Directions could be better, luckily I've built a lot of furniture so didn't experience many issues but had to re-look at a few parts a few times to make sure everything was lined up correctly, not to mention had a heck of a time trying to get one of the lifting cylinders installed it was just a little bit too big, but I was finally able to get it in there and everything worked out, I'd highly recommend two people(just for the beginning steps due to balance, I did it by myself but the second person would probably have saved me a few curses), a really good philips screw driver you'll use it a lot, and the screws are probably going to get damaged if you use power tools, so definitely a hand screw driver. Probably a hammer if you need to knock down the cylinder a little bit to get it into place, I did a small tap and it was enough to get it so I could get it into position. Tl;dr: The Desk is great, I love it, cup-holder is one of a kind 5 stars for that alone, make sure you are using the right screws when building it, recommend hand tools only, 2 people would be ideal but I did it by myself in like an hour by balancing certain parts on others. ... show more

love this desk so far. i got the 63" size with top shelf & drawers in black. it's well made and strong. height adjusting motor runs smoothly. assembly was pretty straight forward with clear instructions. the only part that was trick is a few screws with the allen wrench would of been better as phillips head screws. but i got it all done in about an hour with only one person. desk is very well made, all the holes lined up perfectly and it has enough self weight that tipping over is not going to happen. the motor raises & lowers pretty quickly and is smooth enough that nothing will fall off the desk. the only drawback is that i wish the power cord where twice as long. with only about 4 ft of cord, I've had to plug it into a power strip to reach the wall outlet. fortunately i have one with surge protection and battery backup. i do wish there was more than one grommet hole in the top, but otherwise it has good cable management box on the underside. ... show more

This is a heavy package, just FYI. I needed to use a hand-truck to wheel it inside. It took quite a while to assemble, as there are a lot of pieces, but the instructions were easy to follow. The pilot holes for screws (as well as very sharp screws) made the few things you need a little elbow grease for easy. The rest are done using an allen key. BE SURE your pieces are facing the right way; the hex screws have weak heads and strip easily. The desk raises and lowers from a standard 'bed' height up to my chest (I'm 6') silently. It's currently holding four monitors and a large flatscreen TV as it does so. The construction of this desk is solid, the wood is not. It's better than most press-board type wood, but that type of wood by its nature is prone to snapping/cracking. I would otherwise give this desk five-stars, but for this price some real lumber would be cost efficient and improve the quality greatly. For anyone worried about the optional shelving around the edges, it's solid. It's braced in two places with metal bridges and four more wooden braces as well. If assembled correctly, every piece serves to stabilize the unit as a whole. Even at about 250 lbs., I can carefully use the weaker parts of the desk to help me stand without worrying it's going to snap. (After a while, sitting was just a more comfortable option!) It took me a while to assemble, but I was in a very small space and am currently on the mend from Bronchitis, so I would expect this could be done in the space of an hour/hour and a half. I recommend you have help available for a couple of quick moments, as you will have to balance pieces AND attach screws at the same time. I did it by myself and wish I had had help. Overall, I'm glad I bought this desk. So far it just seems well designed and manufactured. Again, even the press-board type wood pieces seem to be a higher quality than I'm used to in DYI furniture. I recommend this desk if you're looking for a piece that will last, has a few extra perks (I really like the cloth drawers and leather magazine sling!)
