I've had these lights for about a week now. Now I have common sense. Solar lights usually aren't the best and the fact that it was a lamp and not just a small sidewalk light had me BEYOND skeptical. So I tried to have realistic expectations. I just moved into my home so I bought these to brighten up the sidewalk by my gate. Theyre pretty cheap so I thought nothing to lose! Installation was literally five minutes and of course it's a plastic base so it's not the strongest but you can reinforce it. I let the lamp heads charge in direct sunlight all day and screwed them on at night. And honestly they work great! Now remember it's a solar lamp so it's not going to be as bright as a conventional wired lamp. But they do their job great and cast off a nice ambient light. I'm gonna wait it out a few months to see how they hold up but as of right now I would definitely buy more! ... show more

I only had one finial for the top instead of two. I have read several reviews with the same issue. So Apparently they have an issue. They are okay as far as brightness. Just put them up tonight so not sure if the light lasts all night or not? I am irritated that I did not have a second finial and had to make something for the top. Too much of a pain to send back. I wont order from this seller again because of it unless they make it right. ... show more

They’re actually bright for the size, they’re not too big, but not small either. I have them in a flower bed at my House entrance, they light up the area, and the hibiscus and jasmine bushes look beautiful in the light. I like the simplicity of them, they look elegant.

I rarely write reviews but I am really impressed with these lights. I bought 10 of them in November. It is now March 12 and all 10 are working flawlessly. They are very reliable. When charged in sunny conditions, the lights will run all night long. We started using them with the aluminum poles but we just installed a split-rail fence and I drilled a 1-1/8 hole to mount the light on each post (see pic).
