Overall, this is a great solution for an L-shaped standing desk. The desktops are chipboard with a veneer, which is expected for the price. Quality is decent, all the parts line up nicely, and nothing felt misaligned during assembly. Building it took most of a weekend with my kid. It ended up being about eight hours, but it probably would have been half that solo, and faster with another adult. The instructions were very clear, detailed, and easy to follow. The desk arrived in three boxes. One contained the two desktops. Unfortunately, the main desktop was damaged. The box was fine, but the desktop was crushed on one side. At first I was told to just glue it back, but this was not a cosmetic issue. They offered me forty dollars, but I asked for a replacement. They did eventually ship the entire desktop box again, and the replacements were in good condition. Once assembled, the desk works very well. It is stable, the lift is smooth and quiet, and the speed is good. There is plenty of usable workspace. Cable management is decent. It includes adhesive clips and a pass-through opening with a plastic trim piece. The power ports are convenient, though the placement could be better. At a height of 29.7 inches (level one for me), a standard three-prong plug was tall enough to get bent, so I ended up using a right-angle adapter. The drawers are the weakest part. The slides are thin metal, the drawers wobble when opened, and the overall feel is a little flimsy. They work, but I may replace the slides with soft-close hardware in the future. The drawer pulls also had sharp edges. I filed them down after one caught my leg. In daily use, the desk looks good, feels sturdy, and functions as a proper standing desk. I just wish the materials and drawer hardware were a little higher quality, and that the power ports were positioned somewhere safer. Well made and beautiful. One of the scalloped or a mental pieces was a little nicked up on the bottom but not bad enough to request a replacement. It is HEAVY. It feels like a quality product and really is pretty. Assembly is very time consuming but the instructions are quote good. You'll need to plan 6-8 hours to assemble this. ... show more

Terrible quality. I wish I could return. The stand up part of the desk is fine but the rest of the desk is poor quality and if you’re taller than 5’7” is too small.

Love this desk. Looks great and expensive. All the components work as they should. Top drawers are not very deep. This item comes in multiple boxes and has many pieces. Assembly took a couple of hours.

Final update: I have never encountered a situation like this, nor have ever done follow up updates. Seller ended up providing a full refund. Wasn’t the best experience, but thankful for the end result. Update: the seller contacted me offering a full refund. When I responded I got two auto messages asking what I needed help with. I filled out the survey asking if the interaction solved my issue and then got another response from the seller saying that they apologize for the 1st offer, it’s something that needs to be done as they have to contact through Amazon messaging system. Offered me a replacement part which is ridiculous as I would need to disassemble pretty much the whole desk. Feels very bait & switch; waste of time, Changing stars from 3 to a 1 based on my whole experience. Looks good, standing desk feature is awesome! It took me an entire day to put together but overall directions were clear. Unfortunately, the desk is impossible to move. It is HEAVY. Once we got it into the space we wanted, the corner of the L shape had split/torn. There is a massive bulge. Still functional but very disappointing that it’s already destroyed.
