Part of the regimen for a healthy lawn is to remove the dead grass, allowing healthy grass to breeze better and consume the water. The thatcher made it simple to break out the dead grass and improve the overall health and look of the lawn. Just by removing the grasses that were no longer Healthy, the lawn looks fresher, greener, and more vibrant. Takes a few minutes to assemble, but not terribly difficult and then you just start using it to remove the dead grass where needed. Sturdy construction will hold up for years and works well to get the majority of the problem areas cleared. Good value.

This is a really solid rake for a number of reasons, and here is why I like it: 1. It was easy to assemble. The handle features a simple twist-and-go setup that secures very well and doesn’t have any slop. Attaching the rake head involves just two bolts, and they provide the tools in the box. It took me less than 3 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. 2. For a system you assemble from individual pieces, it is solid when finished. I have bought a lot of cheap brooms, rakes, and shovels where the individual sections start to unspin, bend, or straight-up fall off, but this rake is solid. There was no flex when I used it, which frankly surprised me because it is super lightweight, so I had expected some, but there was basically none. 3. It’s effective. I used this to sweep my yard of all the leaves and twigs that were covering my backyard after the severe thunderstorms we’ve had over the last two weeks, and it took very little effort to do so. The width of the tines makes for easy cleanup, and after sweeping my yard, all but the smallest leaves were easily picked up. 4. It’s a standard size. As you can see in my photo with all my other outdoor tools, it is the same length and fits in my tool organizer. It’s nice to see this is standard length and not a short one, given that I am 6 foot 4 and find it really comfortable to use. Overall, the build quality combined with its effectiveness makes this a 5-star product for me.

The DigiGlow 62" Thatch Rake, 19 Double-Sided Tines, 15-Inch Wide Lawn Rake, Adjustable Handle Garden Rake for Dethatching, Gardening, Yard Work, Heavy Duty Metal Grass and Rock Rake is easy to use. The thatch rake is sturdy, materials seems to be durable and is easy to assembly. But, the unit I received has no coat or treatment over the weld between the orange bracket and the head tines, this lack of treatment will result in a premature rust in the tool. I will need to buy an anti-rust spray and apply in the welded area to prevent the rust. It is very easy to use and does a good job, no special skills needed to handle this thatch rake. Despite the weld issue, I am happy with the purchase, 4 stars.

This is my first double-tined rake and I really like it. I love the metal handle and the double bolts, it keeps the rake very sturdy. The tines are strong and they really are versatile. I am able to even out a garden bed much more quickly with this rake, and it picks up leaf debris and weeds very nicely too. The rake width (15 in.) is easy for me to maneuver and control. The tines are slightly curved, which really assists in the way they grab in the soil. I like it. Easy assembly, comfortable to hold and use.

my husband is the only one who has used this and he said it worked great on the lawn. he used it to move some dirt around and on the grass thats all i know and he said it worked great. better than a rake
