Nice part! Packed well and a good straight piece of wood. I trimmed the edge with a track saw for a precise fit in a built-in. Then I used butcher block (beeswax and mineral oil) conditioner to give a nice look and protection. Very satisfied.

Awesome table top! I am using it as a computer desk and attached it to a sit/stand frame. Works out excellent! Packing was superb and showed up decently quick. Said it would be here in 2 weeks and it got out here in a week.

If you're concerned about perfection, and you don't want to refinish your butcher block upon delivery, this is not for you. If you can accept some flaws, or you plan to finish it yourself, this is probably the best deal you'll find. I bought this as a desk top for an electric sit/stand desk. I found the surface too rough for purposes, so I sanded it down by hand. This removed most of the dark walnut color. After sanding, I had to re-stain the wood to achieve the darker color I was after. I then applied several layers of polyurethane to protect the surface from wear and tear. There are still a few visible scratches that show that this is probably a factory second... but I'm happy with the result in spite of this. I still give this product 5 stars because I wouldn't expect a better result without spending a LOT more on the butcher block itself in the first place. ... show more

I purchased this with standing desk legs. One side of the wood top had some 'character' but the other side was great for a desktop. Looks good and is certainly solid wood through and through after drilling through it for my anchor points..

48x30 product, after two weeks of installation (no use), cracks have emerged over entire long side. When arriving there was only a small chip on one of the edges（not related to cracks) and nothing when pre-drill or adding screws to base. We noticed some creaking and bending when applying weight on side (estimated no more than 30lb), but no obvious cracks. didn't think much of it, but now this is unusable, since it will probably breakout the moment someone tries to lean on the desk.
