Very very happy with this. Read some reviews that made me think these metal racks with metal plastic clips were not sturdy… and I bought a heavy duty plastic rack instead. What a mistake!!! The plastic one warped and bent. It was my washroom entrance and held detergents and some pantry goods like potatoes onions and rice. The shelf bent and stuff would fall off. It blocked the doorway because it was leaning away from the wall. Stuff like potatoes fell from the leaning shelf and rotted on the floor! I bought one of these wire shelves from Walmart, a giant one I found in the store for a different location and it was so sturdy! Then I bought this one to replace the other in the pantry and what a difference! It stands straight, tall and sturdy. No leaning, bending. Maybe I was just stupid believing those reviews that said the plastic ones are sturdier, but likely not the only one who fell for it. I’ve also seen reviews that show the clips fly off…. Sure they do. Until the shelf is put over them, then they are 100% stable since it holds them in place! And they hold the shelf just fine, even with giant bags of rice and detergent bottles. Anyway, I’m ordering some more of these shelves today since we moved our washer and dryer out of our tiny washroom onto an adjoining wall and making the tiny washroom (that won’t hold a regular sized washer and dryer) into a walk in pantry. :) I may or may not go with this brand (being able to choose among many sizes is fantastic, but it isn’t the lowest price… still good, just not absolute lowest). But I will definitely go with this style. Sent that miserable plastic stand to the landfill. Wouldn’t even donate it to Goodwill. No one deserves that junk. ... show more
