    • smoked when paired with stock 6v RollPlay Silverado motor & gearbox ( at 9.6V)
I didn't realize it until the plastic started melting, but these motors are maybe 15-20% faster than the stock motor, so when used in a 2WD conversion, it will be doing most of the work. Even by itself, the stock motor was holding up fine, but this one didn't survive one day even with the stock motor helping it! So I can't exactly return something I was using in this manner, but considering the stock motor is holding up fine and this one burned up quickly, I can't say I am impressed. ... show more

    • It's OKAY. Quality isn't there.
I went through two of these. They work fine at first and is a perfect fit for my kid's car. Same exact specs and layout. The first one worked fine for about a week and the reverse function gave out and no longer worked. I returned it and purchased another one hoping it was just defective. The 2nd one worked perfectly for about 2 weeks and now the reverse is finnicky at best. Sometimes it stops responding unless my kid drives forward a little more then throw it back on reverse and it works. It hasn't completely given out yet and my kid learned to deal with it so I'm not going to bother taking the motor back out as he absolutely loves driving his car. ... show more
