Bought this to replace a junk battery in my son's Peg Perego Gator XUV and was hoping it would give it a little more ooomph, as he is getting older. I had already replaced his battery once and was disappointed with the last one, since it never seemed to have much power and the charge faded quickly. This battery is great! It runs strong - both my son and I agree that the Gator seems to have more power, speed, and stamina than it did even when new. No problem with hills or passengers now!

The battery capacity is definitely good on this battery. My grandson uses his electric car for an average of about 30 minutes a day. After 5 months, the battery suddenly experienced dramatic loss of endurance. A full day charge only lasted a few minutes. I did some research and AGM type batteries are VERY sensitive to heat. He used to park his car in the direct sun, so I plan to buy the battery again and have him park in the shade to test whether it extends the life of the replacement battery. I will follow up with an update.

First time I used this item it performed well. The second time I used it, after charging it over night with the peg perego charger it ran for 5 minutes and required yet another charge. Also one of the two connector pins came out of the battery connection hardness. At this point I requested a return of the item. The seller emailed me that the problem could be one or two things. I'm not happy with this product at this point and definitely not in the mood to fix this thing after paying seventy dollars for it. To make matters even worst it cost me $20 to send back to the seller his DEFECTIVE MECHANDISE. Don't make the same mistake I made when trying to upgrade your kid's Peg Perego Battery. One star is too generous in this instance. My Son has had the original Peg Perego battery for 3 years and we've never experienced any issues.

Updated: I purchased the 12V 15Ah replacement for the Per-Perego John Deere Gator. It arrived today in what appeared good packaging, but the casing around the battery was broken. I figured it may be just cosmetic so I plugged it in and the battery is not working at all. I plugged it in and my charger lit green. I checked the fuse (fine) and later noticed one of the connections was bent. When the cover broke it bent a connection. After re-bending I was able to get a solid connection and it works well.

We bought this battery for our grandchildren’s gator. It has never lasted (kept a charge) like the original battery. It was always stored in the house and charged in the house. After sitting this winter, I could not get it on the charger. I realized the wire on the plug keeps coming out so I tried to connect the wire and did get it on the charger. Now it lasts a few minutes with a charge and continually blows the breaker. This was a HUGE waste of money.
