I purchased this to keep all my tarot books together in a tight desk space. The use of vertical space is helpful and it looks really cool. It holds a lot more than I expected. It’s easy enough to put together, but pay very careful attention to the placement of holes, the instructions don’t differentiate the different pieces, and it’ll only become clear that you’ve used the wrong piece after the fact, but it’s so easy to disassemble and reassemble that it only added 5 minutes. When I was first shopping around I fell in LOVE with this bookshelf!! It’s so unique such the perfect rich mahogany color and such a great add to a home because a lot of people don’t even have bookshelves or even books any more. I’ve had it and decorated it as you can see for the past two months and I get so many compliments on it when pple come over!! My husband scoffed at me when I showed him what I ordered. He said “we don’t need more stuff” and then after the bookshelf was up and the books were displayed in such a cool way…his tone changed and now he really likes it! 🙌🏻 That’s a win in my book every day! The bookshelf is full and really stable. The color is great. Next time, I hope he just listens to me…off to buy more “stuff” lol ... show more

    • Frustrating to assemble
This was very frustrating to assemble due to the directions not specifying which way the boards attach, and some holes being drilled in the wrong area. The end product is nice and works well. I like the shape and price. I have three stars because it took me forever to assemble and was very frustrating, which could’ve been easily avoided with clear instructions and correctly drilled holes by the manufacturer. ... show more

The bookshelf itself comes together really nicely but it’s not the easiest thing to assemble. Unfortunately my kit didn’t come with enough screws so I was unable to add the top shelf as you can see from the photos (the panel is just sitting on the bottom shelf) which I would have liked for the extra storage. I reached out to customer service to see if I could just get some additional screws but got no response. So take your chances, if you get a full kit it’s worth it as it looks lovely and is quite sturdy but be prepared to spend a good deal of time assembling it and if something is wrong or missing you won’t get support. ... show more

I needed some extra space for my books and this works perfectly for housing my comics and manga. It’s easy to assemble and sturdy. My only complaint is that it is far too tasty.
