I’ve been using these ribbons for various craft projects, most recently on a Valentine’s Day heart-shaped wreath, and they added a beautiful finishing touch. The pastel colors are soft and true to what’s shown, and the texture has a nice handmade feel that elevates simple projects. They’re easy to work with and tie well without feeling flimsy. The quality is great overall, but I do wish each roll contained more ribbon. I went through a surprising amount just decorating one wreath and found myself running out quickly. Most of these ribbons are good quality fabric, and a perfect width for putting around most packages. There is enough of each to wrap around quite a few presents depending on the size. The two striped ribbons seemed to have been cut wrong or accidentally moved as they were being cut lengthwise. There are places where little chunks are cut out, which also caused fraying at these places. It is only in a couple places on each striped color, which is no big deal unless it ends up in the middle on top of a present. For the price, they are still worth buying and honestly I don't really care for the striped ones anyhow. They all come on a flat, very thick piece of cardboard, but I rewound each one with tape or pins (included) to secure them to half of a TP roll each, because I have a rod in my wrapping/craft cart to hang them on to use easily. I didn't even realize that there was a solid red satin ribbon amongst the others because it was covered up by the others, but I was very happy to spot it. This red is so vibrant and is perfect with no frays or cuts, just like the velvet ribbons are also. The velvet ribbon colors are more subdued, but very pretty too. ... show more

This is a total bargain for all these ribbons. I used them for so much gift wrapping and I still have so much left! I love that the colors are general enough that there's something for every season and every person. If you're looking at them for sewing, I would say the velvet ones are high enough quality to sew with, but you will probably want to keep the striped ribbons for gift wrapping. If you like velvet ribbon to trim your tree or to adorn packages, this is a really great option. I love tying little bows on my Christmas tree and I was looking for a new set of colors to use for my tree this year. I saw this grouping and like the richness of the color set. I was really pleased with the colors--the navy color looks beautiful (almost black), the bronze rich, the scarlet really beautiful. The striped ribbons and green are twill/cotton and not velvet--just FYI. Of course, it didn't come on a spool like pictured in the photo but wrapped around a card. The ribbons are a nice mix of colors—pink, light blue and aqua velvet, and red stripe and brown stripe. The striped ones are not super thick. The velvet is soft and holds up well, and the length is enough for a few packages, and it’s easy to use. The ribbon is durable but not reusable. All the ribbons come wrapped on one piece of cardboard, making harder to handle. ... show more
