To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality, considering the low price of these light pods. I bought them thinking I may upgrade to a higher quality product at a later date if I liked the effect of having this type of ground lighting on my truck. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found that these pods are actually quite nicely made. The sealing of the circuitry appears to be very well done, as they are fully encapsulated by an epoxy resin type material that contains no bubbles and is smoothly finished, completely flush with the rear of the pod shell. The mounting bolts are secured with nylon lock nuts, which will prevent the bolts from loosening due to the constant vibration exposure over time. The rubber pod backing pads fit will and have no flash around the edges, thus making for a clean, neatly finished looking installation. Finally, the brightness and color of the LEDs is great. Mine are green, to match the wrap color on my Chevy/Duramax 3500 crew cab dually truck. I will install and wire these pods tomorrow. I will be connecting them to my courtesy lights so that they will illuminate the ground along the edges of the truck when the doors are opened, as well as when the doors are remotely unlocked. I am placing 4 pods, evenly spaced along the rocker panels and 2 pods at the front and 2 at the rear of the truck (2 sets, 12 pods in total). Barring any unforeseen problems, I am completely confident that I will be very satisfied with this purchase and will not be looking to upgrade any time in the foreseeable future! Recieved my order , 1 light was not properly sealed. No biggie , Contacted the seller , took care of me immediately. Lights are the brightest ive seen compared to other similar styled ones on Amazon. Ive decided to play with the defective one. Ive soaked it for 2 days now and it still lights up even with the wiring not being sealed.ive removed the back cover screws as well. And still no water has entered ...im going to leave it submerged and check it daily..ill update when it dies lol but so far im very impressed. Update its been 5 days underwater and 1 day it was frozen and it still shone through the ice ... show more

Awesome lights. They are very bright and seem really well built. I think they will last a long time. I used them for my front bumper on the Jeep. They were so bright I had to add a dark tint to them. The media could not be loaded. These are basic LED light that seem well made (time will tell) aluminum body seems tight wires are thicker then I expected maybe 16ga. Silicone Casing as thick all and all a good buy at this price point you can’t go wrong

Worked great for 2 weeks were really bright then 3 of them started to flicker so I just don’t even turn them on anymore I tried to warranty them but the warranty information went away and I have no idea how to warranty them

Lights appear to be good quality, all lights work properly. Ordered 12 total for rock lights under a 2002 Xterra. 8 installed (Amber) along with 2 yellow pods front and rear. I love the lights, great output at a hell of a value, thank you!
