I didn't realize our furniture covers slipping could be solved with something so simple. We have an extra-wide, cushy couch with three seating sections, and the back and bottom cushions, while attached to the base, have deep sink holes between them. We have a couch cover that gets laid on top of the couch and then tucked in between the back and bottom cushions. Every time you get up, though, it pulls out the tucked-in part a bit, until it's not tucked in at all. I used five of these six foam rods, spaced equidistant. I placed them on top of the cover before I tucked it in, and voila! You can't see them at all, and the cover stays neatly tucked in. I remembered that the throw cover on my office chair constantly slips down, so I thought I'd try the last one there. It's perfect. Tucked right in with no slippage at all when I get up and down. This is a very simple, economical (and now essential) furniture accessory.

I put these between my sofa cushions and they just got swallowed up between the cushions and made no difference. We have a pretty modern srtyle couch that is low-profile, so it's not like it's one of those big chunky traditional sofas.

I was going to try to squeeze a short length of one of these down to fit in a smaller hole to seal it. But these were much more firm than what I expected and could not get them to squeeze down and insert. As far as their advertised use, I'm sure they' work well for that. But I have no need for such a furniture cover holder. So now these will become yet another item tossed in a junk drawer in my shop. Maybe someday I'll find some use for them.

They do what they’re supposed to do and they hold the cover in place. The problem is, I have kids and wash the cover every week. Installing these over and over again is just more bother than it's worth. If you don’t wash your cover that often, it might be useful and save you a lot of adjusting. I received this item through the Vine Program, but I always give my honest, unbiased opinion so you can shop with confidence.

I like these! The ones that came with my sofa cover were very, very light styrofoam. These are heavy and dense and feel substantial. I've put them into service in an EMS station where the furniture covers get slept on and messed up regularly. These have significantly reduced the amount of tucking and straightening the covers after a shift. I would like to see longer versions of these to tuck into full size sofas rather than just using half a dozen short pieces to fully tuck the seat back in.

A lot more dense (and thus heavier) than expected. I thought they'd just be light foam, but no. Before this, I was actually using a broom handle to hold my sofa cover in place. But this pushed my cushions out and still rode back up. I pushed these under the cushion (rather than just behind, in the crevice. These will flatten under a person's weight and I think that will hold them in place. So far so good!
