So I had gotten the original red case pop-up style versions of these awhile back, and I loved them and used them so much, well- it was time to replace them. So I got the set of 6 that includes 3 flower ones and 3 glitter ones. I attached several photos taken in natural lighting for you. As you can see in one (I took a pic of them on my hand after about 15 mins to allow time for my body heat to change them to their full color potential), there is not much difference between each one, if any at all. This is the only reason I docked a star. 01 might ever so slightly be a more concentrated pink color than the others on my hand. I applied 01 and 02 on my lips side by side, and, as you can tell, you wouldn’t know there was a difference if I hadn’t told you. They are very hydrating though, and I do appreciate the subtle color they bring to my lips. I’ve never been a fan of heavy lip stains and colors on me personally- I just prefer the more natural look, so these are perfect for that. I can lather them on as heavy as I’d like and they will still look fairly natural and not overdone. I also feel like because they are heat activated, they tend to soak in more and last a little longer in providing that touch of color. The glitter in the last three is also subtle (06, 07, 08). I angled the light in one photo so you could see the glitter in 07 on my hand. I like that it adds a little glisten, but it doesn’t look tacky and overdone like I’ve globbed glitter on my lips. Overall, if you are looking for a variety pack with multiple popping colors, I would not recommend this particular set. But if you are just looking for some nice, subtle pink, hydrating lip stains that aren’t necessarily a variety, then these are great. I was originally hoping for more of a variety pack in color tones (like a few redder undertones in there and not all just pink), but I’m still going to keep the set despite. I just plan to throw one in my purse and in my makeup bag, etc. I don’t mind a whole lot that they all are pretty much the same color because that’s the subtle pink, natural color I tend to use regularly anyways. It being a pack of 6, well, I’ll just have backups for when I run out of the first few I use up! Hope this helps! ... show more

I didn't think it'd be as pretty as the picture but it was a lot more than I expected, all three are very pretty on any tone. When applying the lipstick it's smooth and turns a different color, super pretty, and great quality!

    • It’s okay for what it is

So I bought the set to give away at Christmas I had one for myself and figured I would give it a try before I gift the rest of them to family and friends. I have to say it is a very sheer pink color. It feels very nice putting it on but it kind of has a chemical smell to it which is a little off putting. However the flowers are very cute. Can I say I wear this as a favorite lipstick. The answer is most likely no. Do I think this could look possibly nice over a lipstick that feels dry maybe. Might add just a hint of a shine to it. It would also make for a very cute prop if your filming something or playing as a pretend princess. Other then that I say the tube looks nice and so dose the flower in the lipstick What would be really cool is if they could make the color change to match the flower in the lipstick to give you 6 different colors that would be awesome and worth the money. However If you have a child that likes to play dress up this is a fairly inexpensive product that would be nice for role playing without breaking the bank because you get 6 of them which amounts to if your paying $9.99 that comes out to about $1.66/$1.67 if you round up in other words 3 of them cost you $1.66 while the other 3 cost $1.67 to add up to the total of 9.99 not including tax and shipping cost. To me that is better then paying out 5.99 for one lipstick at the store or even for the more pricey ones If your going to play pretend. So that is something to keep in mind when buying this ... show more

The packaging was adorable and when I unblxed them, they looked so cute! I tried them on and they all were the same shade but each had a different color flower inside which was cute. When appkied to the lips they werent sticky and felt nice. They hydrated my lips well and looked super cute. After wiping it off, it leaves a slight tint on the lips. They are easy to use and fit nicely in small bags. The only thing I didnt like was that they didnt taste very good so if you were eating and didnt wipe it off a little, you would be able to taste it and it wasnt very nice. ... show more
