Honestly, this hair is beautiful. I got the 1TB30. First, I’m new to crocheting my hair so I needed a style with a little room for error that would still look good. And I just loved this boho look. You don’t have to be an excellent crochet-er to look good in this hair. The hair is lightweight. If you’ve been sensitive to synthetic hair in the past you might be sensitive to this hair. I do have a little sensitivity in the crown of my head, but I moisturize where my parts are and use braid spray daily. When I buy this hair again, I will soak it in ACV and conditioner to make it less itchy for me. I can tell the hair will likely tangle the longer I keep it in. But using mousse and tying up at nights helps. I used all 6 packs. I don’t recommend it, unless you have larger head. For me 6 packs is way too much. Four would’ve been just fine. The more hair you add over 3 or 4 packs, it starts to get bulky and look like a mane. Also, try to make your braiding pattern as flat as possible near the nape of your neck because if it’s bulky, as mine is, with thick hair like this and using lots of it (more than 3 or 4 bags) it just makes your hair look like it has a bump in the back. And for the new crochet-ers/self install try to have 10 braids at the front of your head. I had 8 and my parts looked to far apart. All in all, it took 3 hours to install, by myself. But despite all mistakes, it’s beautiful. I plan to keep it in only for two weeks because I put too much in and my braiding pattern wasn’t the best. But I’ll order it again, maybe in the 1B 14 inch.

The photos above were taken three weeks after getting my hair installed at the shop. The hair is soft, has luster and is super light weight (compared to box braids). I have six packs of hair installed. I mixed 1B and 1B + T30. It’s 18 inches. I have received more compliments with this style than any other style I’ve ever worn!!!! It’s low maintenance if you put it in a high bun or move hair in front of your shoulders when lounging. Wear a giant bonnet if you are going to lay down. Washing is simple just use your regular shampoo. Being gentle is key and I only use my fingers to detangle (no combs or brushes). The curls haven’t frizzed at all… they still look fresh! Definitely buy this hair. It’s totally worth it and I believe I will use it again for my next install!

These look so nice and can be styled differently. I’ve had these in for going on two months and they’re still holding up well. I would suggest getting some moose to help keep the shape of the locs. Tying them up in a bonnet is highly recommended. My only hang up with these is how messy and tangled the ends can become with time.

I loved it! I do hair (IG @_sadieslays) if you’d like to see the install / braiding pattern. This crotchet was one of the easiest I’ve done thus far. On top of that it’s super light weight and the perfect length for me. I got the 22” and I’m 5’1” , goes down to midback. The loop got tangled a couple of times that’s the only thing that annoyed me a bit but nothing crazy. They also send you a crochet hook and accessories. Would def buy again & recommending to clients!
