I bought this for my son’s room and I could not be happier! It looks identical to the photos. The quality is amazing. My husband was able to put it together in like an hour tops. attractive and practical. Exactly what I needed and wanted. Had to hire a handyman to assemble it, so that added alot to the price, but he had no trouble putting it together. I would give this 5 stars but it was a total pain to put it together honestly. It’s all diagrams with just numbers and letters. I wasn’t sure if I should color it or put it together. It tooks us over 2 hours and we are pretty intelligent folks. For $190, I don’t think anyone could expect more. I saw someone say “it’s not real wood”. Well of course it isn’t. You’d be paying a whole lot more. But for particle board, it looks really good. Great color. We really love it. It’s sturdy and very stable. It will hold the books and Knicknacks we have. We cannot wait to decorate the cubbies. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these shelves. The color is beautiful. Easy to put together and very sturdy. A good price for the quality . The only issue I have, is there are over 2 dozen cam bolt holes per shelf unit, no covers to hide them. Do yourself a favor and order cam bolt covers when you order the shelf.

    • Don't Waste Your Money

This is the worst thing to try and put together. It needs at least 2 or 3 people just to keep it together long enough to add another layer. Then when it falls apart, the screws you had already put in scratch the other parts. When you tighten the screws just a half turn too much, the cut into the veneer. It was bad just putting the first 3 shelves in, then the instructions say to lay it down and it gets worst just trying to put the really badly idea of putting the ends on that are already in 3 pieces. Just the biggest mess ever, so badly marked up I couldn't even return it and took it all to the dump. What a huge waste of money!!!! ... show more

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Nice, very dark blue (instead of typical black, grey, brown options). EASY to assemble without help (even though the long pieces are heavy). Sturdy wood with the 3 horizontal pieces (approximately 5 ft each) being solid lengths & the end/side pieces being 1 piece each. It really makes it a sturdy piece of furniture. I bought it as a TV stand & it holds my 55” TV safely. PLEASE NOTE that the manufacturer sticker clearly warns to not put a TV on it & that it is a “tip over risk”.
