  • Beginner Upgrade
Model: V600 - 6 Channel Audio Mixer
Top notch! The capabilities you get for the price is an outstanding value, especially for a newbie. I am a first-time user and was so excited to try this mixer. I have only used subscription online mixers before. The bluetooth capability was a big draw for me. It is very smooth and blends sound cleanly. I was overwhelmed at the first look of it, but once I started to use it, it was very simple and noticeably effective in comparison. I have a home studio and needed an upgrade to boost the quality of my videos. This mixer is powerful, mobile, comes with extra fun features and suits my needs. The casing is a lightweight metal. The knobs are not heavy duty either but it works very well! ... show more

  • Great little mixer for this price range! Great little mixer for this price range!
Model: V600 - 6 Channel Audio Mixer
THE GOOD: Use in a home studio to solve mixing multiple input devices down to one, it works very well! If you’re expecting a full-blown professional mixer, look elsewhere. If you’re just starting an online video/audio presence without breaking the bank, this is a good little unit. Plugged in my guitar processor into channels 1 and 2, the outputs into my FRFR (Full Range, Flat Response) speakers, zeroed out the per channel EQ, made sure the 48v phantom power was off (48v on for specific microphones), adjusted the mains, and I had sound. Regarding the guitar processor (amp and effects modeler), you want flat full response sound that goes into the unit, coming out with no EQ colorization, or additional effects. This unit did a great job passing and allowing me to control the output level of the unit. I used the global EQ (instead of the one built into the guitar process) as a test. I am impressed with what this little mixer could do, especially for this price range! To test the blue tooth capability, I paired my iPhone to the unit. I was expecting low volume and/or muddy output, and was pleasantly surprised that I could change phone volume and control the mix with the guitar processor so I could play over some on-line backing tracks! The case is metal on all sides, but very thin metal. This unit appears meant to be setup in one location and not moved. If this is your scenario and 6 channels solves your mixing problem, this is a great little unit. SOME CONCERNS: If you want to be mobile with this device, the sliders do not seem like they would take any kind of abuse under normal use. The sliders seem pretty wiggly, and may over time either break off if accidently bumped with something, or allow dust in the sliders introducing noise into your mix. The power supply appears to be very light duty, based upon the weight of the external power supply. I felt that under higher load for longer underload times, this power supply may either introduce noise, or fail completely. I did not plug in any microphones to test the unit under higher load. After running the mixer for 3 hours, neither the power supply nor unit felt warm, which is obviously a good sign. ... show more

  • Feature rich, but trading off quality at this price point. Feature rich, but trading off quality at this price point.
Model: V600 - 6 Channel Audio Mixer
Where this mixer falls behind the most is the build quality of the moving parts. The knobs and faders aren’t premium. They’re plastic capped. Some of the knobs move smoothly and effortless while with others I feel a lot of resistance. The ‘program’ selector knob feels particularly flimsy, and on mine is off center from the circular marking around it. It jiggles a bit, and when you push it down to select presets, the ‘click’ isn’t always consistent. The enclosure is legitimately full metal. It feels sturdy from the front, but if you tap the back it definitely bangs like a hollow metal trash can lid. The power adapter is also cheap feeling. When moving the mixer, I happened to place a finger on top of the Bluetooth/mp3 playback display near the USB port, and the plastic cover collapsed inward. I wasn’t actively applying force inward, but a small amount of pressure while pushing the mixer into its box was enough to break it.. the screen still works and I can probably fix it easily, but it doesn’t bode well for long term durability.. There’s a volume knob and a gain knob on every channel; check both if volume is low. The gain knob’s curve is not optimized for dynamic mics, as with my SM58 I had to turn up gain to almost full to get decent volume. But it didn’t introduce much noise and the fader worked fine for later adjustments. When I plugged in audio from my iPhone using an adapter, it needed much less gain, so it’s definitely source dependent. Despite all my complaints, all the features I will use have worked as expected so far (didn’t try Bluetooth or USB connection). With the number of channel and input options, the 3 eq knobs on every channel, the gain/volume options, the aux and effects routing, and even a 7 band EQ, this is all I’ll ever need for band practice, and it sounds good. BUT, to achieve this price point, they had to trade off somewhere, and they chose to make build quality secondary. If you need a mixer for anything other than stationary casual home use, I’d really consider spending a few hundred on one with more durable components. ... show more

  • Good Quality Board With Over 300 Effects Good Quality Board With Over 300 Effects
Model: V600 - 6 Channel Audio Mixer
This is a nice solid six-channel audio mixer board it's not as big as some of the six channels I've had in the past so it makes it easy for traveling with to gigs or whatnot. It's got the built-in Bluetooth You have a 48 volt Phantom power the drive your XLR microphones Everything is smooth on it the knobs and the sliders nothing sticks everything was intact makes it a whole lot easier to work with. And also comes with over 300 reverb effects built-in so you have lots of options for getting your sound just right. It delivers pretty good sound quality too. It also has live monitoring recording with his own adjustable volume control. and it's very easy to use and set up. And you also have the graphic equalizer for the channels their own equalizer which again helps you make in your adjustments especially if you have a couple of vocal tracks You can set your lead or main vocals higher than your backing vocals again great for live recording make those adjustments on the spot. I like this board It offers a lot It's easy to set up and use It's got a lot of effects over 300 of the reverb effects It's well built good quality and delivers good sound and that's what I look for in these boards. I would definitely recommend it I think it's a great value for the quality board you're getting. ... show more

  • Quality issues; limited use cases Quality issues; limited use cases
Model: V600 - 6 Channel Audio Mixer
This SIKUING 6 channel mixer / audio device arrived with the FX display cover loose inside the mixer. This transparent plastic piece apparently was detached from the top frame before I opened the box. The bottom metal frame arrived warped. The entire mixer does not rest on all four feet – it rocks back and forth on two feet. (See video) The particular unit I received has quality issues. This mixer comes with a lot of features at this price point, but there are about twenty other similar mixers available on Amazon in the price range from $60 to $80 that have similar or almost identical features. These units more than likely share the same internal Bluetooth and USB chip(s). This device appears as “JieLi BR21” in Windows 10. The driver gives an error (see attached screen shot) after updating the driver to "USB Audio Device" in Windows Device Manager. PreSonus Studio One DAW software does see the mixer with a “Windows Audio driver”, and will play through the mixer as an attached audio device. But Studio One will not activate the microphone inputs. (See attached photo). As a "Windows audio device" the 40ms delay makes it unsuitable as an audio input device anyway. Without an ASIO driver this mixer is useless for recording in DAW software. Cubase and other Steinberg software do not see this SIKUING mixer at all. Windows consumer apps will play through this mixer however. All audio from the computer comes into the mixer through a return labeled “MP3.” This SIKUING mixer’s BlueTooth pairs using a device name “AEaudio-BT.” It works OK, and again the volume is controlled by the MP3 knob. My Pixel phone connected to this mixer without checking the box "allow access to your contacts and call history." Music from the Pixel phone played through the mixer as expected. This SIKUING mixer, like others in this category, has limited use in my opinion. It can be used in simple live settings or streaming. The sound effects chip is limited to a single output channel, and only one effect can be used at a time. The effect selection knob and LCD display are primitive and waste a lot of time. The microphone inputs using a phantom-powered mic appear to have plenty of gain in my tests. Better mixer / audio interface USB options with ASIO drivers are generally priced $200 and up, and include models from Yamaha, PreSonus, and Behringer and several other well-known brands. However there is an Art 4-channel mixer for $110 has that has ASIO drivers, and this may be a feasible option for someone wanting a low cost mixer / audio interface that will fully function with their DAW software. All of these mixer / audio interface options mentioned are available on Amazon. Considering the factory defects that came with the particular SIKUING mixer I received, its limited use, and the multitude of other mixers available on Amazon, I can not recommend this particular mixer. ... show more
