Got this for my daughter as she has been teaching herself guitar. it was easy to use, the sound was as good as I could expect, and she really loved the effects and the sheer numbers of them. sure it wont do all of the effects that are out there in pedals, but honestly, its a great way to get into the guitar effects without spending a ton of money of effects pedals, some of which are more expensive than this unit for basically one effect. the ability to use it as a Bluetooth connection to your Amp is a bonus, and the ability to record the output to the pc will be something that is tremendously helpful for a person who wants to hear what they sound like playing. the only con I had with the whole unit is the finicky power requirements. It is a Goldilocks parable of sorts. you have to get a usb brick that is just right. If you use a high power plug in the 35-65 watt range for fast charging and use a USB C to USB C cable, the unit will not power up at all. if you use a classic adapter in the 1A range, the unit will power up but be unresponsive. you have to use a plug that is in the 2A-5A range, then you are golden. i did use a high power plug, but used the USB A to USB C cable that came with the kit and plugged it in the the USB A port in the plug and it worked fine as it steps the power down. Overall I think we got more device for the money with unit and have no problems recommending. The power issue was a slight annoyance at first, but now knowing what it needs, it is still more convenient than a proprietary barrel plug like most have.

Audio mixers come in many configurations, I wanted something small and effective to give me access to allow me to input two guitars with effects into one amp. I bought this 6 input mixer and found it was able to accomplish simply what I wanted to do.. so far so good.

I've been working with audio as a hobby for well over 4 decades, and professionally for over two. I needed a small, portable mixer for both onsite testing as well as some desktop applications, and this unit fit the bill. Sure, I could have spent a fortune on an upscale brand, and if I was using it on a permanent install or mission-critical applications that would be something I would consider...But my usage is for neither of these. I needed a mixer I could throw in a bag with a couple of mics and adapters, that doesn't absolutely require wall power to operate... Ant the unit fits that role perfectly. The layout is straightforward if you're familiar with a typical mixing board, and has the nice addition of being able to play files off of a USB drive OR via bluetooth from a phone/etc. As I am typically playing music from a phone or portable player, this makes it very convenient to do so without having to add cables and adapters to accomplish the same task. In addition, being able to put a folder of test tones and music tracks on a USB stick and play directly from the mixer is a great addition to what I do. The unit also has a small effects unit, which admittedly I won't be using much during my day-to-day work, but after auditioning them I found them to be a worthy value-add. They won't give Lexicon a run for their money, but they're serviceable and welcome if you need just a little something extra. Sound-wise, the noise floor is very reasonable given the price of the unit, and I had no problem with the mic preamps. They're serviceable, once again perfect for the usage I'm giving the unit and the price point. You won't be mastering a Taylor Swift album on the board, but it's perfectly fine for field use or simple Video/Audio blogging. As mentioned before, the unit is USB-C powered, and can run off a suitable 'power brick' battery---this is a definite plus and I'll definitely be using that functionality. To sum up, this is a capable, well-thought-out unit that will serve my needs perfectly without breaking the bank. What more could one ask for?

FULL DISCLOSURE: returned first mixer due to non-working LED. Received replacement within three days. First off, then, this mixer is whisper quiet. All channels are completely silent even when all connected and at unity gain or above. Another plus is that Bluetooth pairing is a breeze and transmission is flawless. The form factor is user–friendly and the materials used in construction seem durable. There are an impressive 100 digital FXs (26 reverbs alone) and they actually sounds pretty good. Additionally, these have a per channel send of the selected FX, along with a master output. I would have given five stars, but for the following: the original unit shipped to me, as mentioned above, was not fully functional. This, despite a quality control sticker having been affixed; the Phantom power works, but takes 5 to 10 seconds to power up the microphone; there is limited treble and bass EQ control with a fixed Q; there are no per-channel or master pan controls; Finally, there is no on/off switch. Power is via a standard 5V USB-C charger and cord. The mixer operates at greater than 2.5 A, but I don’t think the input port is quite conforming to standard, as none of my “white” cords would supply power. I’ve had to dig around in my cord collection to insure I would have a spare in case the one shipped ever malfunctions. Overall, I’m very contented to have this mixer sitting atop my songwriting, arranging, and practice space. I also wouldn’t hesitate to utilize it for a small-venue gig, say, to mix 3 or 4 vocals and to supply background music during breaks through either the RCA, USB drive, or BT inputs. At this price, you’re getting a lot of value and versatility.
