Spacers 25mm or thicker normally do not require trimming Why are the supplied 15mm lug nuts so thin? Are they weaker? They are low-profile nuts designed to sit below the 15mm spacer face. The thin shape does not by itself indicate weak material. Use only the supplied nuts, start them by hand, confirm 7–8 full turns, and tighten evenly with a thin-wall socket What is the recommended torque specification? Torque the spacer-to-hub nuts to 75–80 lb-ft with a calibrated torque wrench, tightening gradually in a star pattern. Do not use an impact wrench for final tightening. Recheck the torque after driving 25–50 miles Why did vibration or looseness become noticeable after installing spacers? Wheel spacers move the wheels outward, increasing leverage on the suspension. This can make existing wear—such as worn bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rods, or tire imbalance—more noticeable.
