Awesome camcorder. Just what we needed for family events and whatnot. Picture quality is great, sound is pretty good. Love having the attached microphone, the extra desktop stand is a nice little bonus. I have yet to need to use the second battery so battery life is pretty great. I wanted a camera that could handle both casual family moments and some creative projects, and this one has been a pleasant surprise. I also found it convenient that I can control it from my phone, which is helpful when I want to be in the shot myself. The zoom works fine for everyday use, though it does take a steady hand to avoid blur. I tried the night vision feature just for fun and it was better than I expected for darker settings. The camera is light enough to carry around without feeling bulky. I like that it records while charging so I do not have to worry about missing anything important. For just over $100 dollars, this is a solid camcorder. It is nowhere near professional quality, nor would you expect it to be for that price. The mic is decent, and all the accessories make it feel even more valuable. But ultimately, I returned it. Why? It is extremely farsighted. Anything within 2 to 3 feet, and the camera cannot focus. The blur is crazy! Also, the angle of the lens makes it nearly impossible to do a video selfie. At arm's length, it barely captures a face, certainly not 2 people. This camera will be great for a kid to play or someone just starting to make videos, but not for me. ... show more
