I like this tree in every respect, except it cannot be easily assembled and put to use. Since I can't use it, one star. When I assembled this collapsible tree it for the first time, I saw the hole in the stand is much wider than the pole that goes into it. That causes the tree to wobble and tilt. The tree came with a couple of wire clips that are poorly explained in the instructions. From the illustration, it seems the clips are suppose to somehow connect the pole at the base to the inner edge of the "needles" part of this tree. But the provided clips are far too short for that, and I see nothing on the tree to which to attach the clips. I contacted Aoycocr support by the chat feature on their website and got no response, not even an automated response. If I'm doing something wrong, I don't know what it is. If the shipped product is defective, there is no one at the company to confirm it. If you order this tree well in advance of when you want to use it, go ahead. If there is something wrong, you'll have time to get service (maybe) or return it. If you plan to put it in quick use upon receiving it, look elsewhere. ... show more

This tree is really fun & beautiful and would be a flawless purchase, if not for the tube at the top not having a tapered end as shown in the directions. The top ring that holds all the lights will not fit securely so you have to rig it up best as you can but the star will always be crooked & the lights also ever so slightly off kilter, due to this poor design. I want to buy another but it’s not worth the $100+ to buy something that is not correctly made. It’s a real shame honestly because it’s so pretty, easy to use & storing will be a breeze! Fix the one tube to be tapered on both ends & this is a no brainer buy, for sure!!! ... show more

While this is advertised as an inside and outside tree, it is not suitable for outside. Despite two grounding stakes for the feet of the tree, it toppled over in what I would call a strong breeze. So, I added two more garden stakes. Another strong breee and it toppled. More anchoring, another breeze, and it toppled again. Add to the fact the string of lights are free floating and have to be rearranged constantly after even a light breeze and you can see why I say this isn't an outdoor tree.
