great toy for my 3 year old toddler. She loves playdough. Comes with too many peices however, just throw out what u dont want and let the kids imagination run wild. She loves recreating dinner dishes and desserts while mixing all the colors. Keeps her busy for hours!

This set came with all kinds of molds and tools to create a bounty of dough food. This set was used by a 2yr old and a 4yr old as well. They had different interest unless one of them made something look really fun then they both wanted that item only. You will need a box or bin to store it all in once you play with it and you will surely need more playdoh at some point. The set provides hours of fun and allows a lot of creativity. I really questioned some of the pieces, but the kids use them even if it doesn't make sense. The ice cream maker was hard for the kids to use because the sliding piece that determines the shape has to be in correctly to work and the little ones just don't understand. It does a fine job if the parts are positioned right and was a lot of fun regardless.

I got this set to use with my three grandchildren, ages 2 1/2, four, and six, and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of what came in the box. The molds and tools are easy to use and offer a wide variety of foods to create. Usually, when you buy an offbrand, non-Play-Doh toy set like this, the dough that comes with it is kind of junky. Fortunately, this set proves the opposite. I really like the dough much better than Play-Doh. It's somewhat softer and doesn't require any kneading, and it works well with all the little molds. The photo shows some of the things we made on our very first try, and pretty much everything we did came out perfect. The only drawback is that I wish it had come with some sort of bag or case to put it all in, because once you have assembled everything, it no longer fits back into its box. I also wish it had come with a knife or two to help with cutting off excess dough, etc. There is a knife in the set, but it's very small and meant to be used as cutlery with the pretend food, not as a tool for creating. Still, the sheer quantity of items and the great quality of the dough makes this a five star product. We are all very pleased and look forward to hours of fun in the future.

This is such a great kids' activity. It is so easy to assemble. There are so many different accessories. The pieces are very kid friendly. My 5-year-old can play with this all by herself. The dough that comes with it is easy on surfaces too. Great activity!
