This is a very complete socket set. I have not used it a lot yet but it seems to be made well and comes with a blow mold case to keep everything organized. It is impact ready too! You can't beat this for the price.

You never have enough sockets. It seems there is always one I dont' have. The DISEN 57 piece SAE/metric socket set with 1/4 72 tooth ratchet wrench set has a lot of what you will need if you are looking for a socket set. PIC1 (I have labeled each picture in the upper right corner because they never appear in the order I add them to the review) shows the case that the set come in. Very convenient to keep things organized. My current collection of sockets is in a box and I have to search through them for the socket I need because they are not organized. PIC2 shows the case opened and a piece of thin foam material to put between the two sides to help keep things in place. The set includes both SAE and metric sockets. Each socket is clearly labeled on its side. The metric sockets include (all in mm) 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. The SAE sockets include (all in inches) 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 9/32, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 and 9/16. In addition to the sockets you get a 1/4 inch 72 tooth ratchet wrench and a 1/4 sliding bar which can be used to turn any of the sockets. You also get a 8 inch and 3 inch extension bars, a universal joint, a 3/8 to 1/4 reducer so you can use the set with a 3/8 ratchet wrench and a drive drill adapter. PIC3 shows the ratchet wrench and 3 inch extender which is attached to a socket. PIC4 shows the ratchet wrench and 9 inch extender attached to a socket. PIC4 shows the ratchet wrench, 3 inch extender and the universal joint attached to a socket. PIC5 shows the slide bar with 9 inch extender attached to a socket. PIC6 shows the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. PIC8 shows the drive drill adapter. I have a collection of drive drills and PIC9 shows one of them inserted into the end of the drive drill adapter (it is magnetic and holds the drive drill in place. The exterior of the case seems to be rugged. My only concern with the case is that each of the pieces in the set friction fit into their slot. I don't know how well the plastic material will hold up over time so I'm going to be careful when I take out the parts. As it is, it is a really nice way to organize all of the pieces. The extension bars and universal joint attach firmly to the ratchet wrench. However, the sockets that you then attach are not "real tight". They won't fall off but sometimes the socket will "stick" to a nut and you will have to be careful when you pull back so as not to leave the socket attached to the nut. I like to keep tools in all my vehicles, just in case I ever need them. I chose the Disen for my car, because it was 57 pcs and came with a case that takes up minimal space. I’ve had to use these multiple times, and have had no issues at all. The socket set goes up to 15 mm and 9/16, which is plenty for basic use. I assembled some gym equipment, and used both the short and deep sockets. I like that the sizes are written in larger bold letters too, because I’m far-sighted and sometimes struggle to read socket sizes. I’m really impressed by the quality of the ratchet. It has a nice grip and has 3 settings, making any small task easy. Overall, I would recommend this handy tool set to anyone looking for a variety of sturdy sockets that don’t take up a lot of space. ... show more

Great socket wrench set. It is probably your basic set, but it is perfect for us. Actually, if it had larger sizes then it would be perfect. It fits great on our bikes but not on our go cart, we need a bigger size. So that's a bummer. But as to how well it works, it's perfect. Nice case too. Nice grip on the handle. Happy with everything except wanting a bigger size to fit the bolts on our gocart. I recommend it for newlyweds, high school boys, etc. My boys use it a lot. ... show more

- Documentation (3/5): None other than a little business card-sized insert that gives activation code for three-year warranty (Amazon ad claimed a lifetime warranty). Product matched seller’s Amazon description exactly. - Functionality (4/5): This is a very good-performing socket set in a slick, compact case. I actually liked the hand ratchet, although I had expected the stubby form factor would bother me, but it fit well in my XL hand and was fairly smooth to operate. The sockets held up well to repeated use with an impact driver, which takes me to my only real beef: why sell this with a hex-to-hex “drill adapter” and not include a hex-to-square drive adapter to fit all the square-drive sockets that are in the kit? Fortunately, I had several of these in my tool box (see the last pic attached), but in my not-so-humble opinion, it makes no sense to leave this part out of this kit. - Quality (5/5): Good-fitting sockets with easy-to-read labeling. - Value (5/5): Priced 10-20% below the average price for similar products on the market, this item is an exceptional value. BOTTOM LINE (17/20): Great product, great value. Buy it, but get your own hex-to-1/4” square drive adapter if you plan to use it with a hex-keyed driver. ... show more
