I thought initially that the handle was metal since it felt really strong and sturdy to hold and use so I was a little surprised to see that it was actually made with fiberglass. I had to go back to the product page description to double-check and it clearly stated the handle is made with fiberglass, I just totally forgot about it after ordering. It has some soft paddings for comfort and better grip too. As for the rake itself, it's definitely metal or steel, thick too so it should last for a very long time, I am not too worried about breaking or damaging this rake with normal use. The whole thing looks and feels like a heavy duty to me, even the handle. This is a well-made and good quality rake all around.

This heavy thatch rake works great. It has a one-piece fiberglass handle, none of this screw-together junk. Also, I like the thick, heavy-duty tines, with a welded fork that's attached via a pair of rivets. This is a solid tool that will outlast me.

This is a nice rake for the home gardener, its light weight and has comfortable handle grips. The quality seems to be adequate for my use, the occasional raking of yard debris and whatnots. If I were a professional gardener, I don't think this would last very long with rigorous use. But since I will only ever use this a few times a year, this should last a decently long time without issue

This is a well made, sturdy rake. It is a great length and the padding on the handle is really a nice addition. It is made to hold up to some serious gardening. Honestly, it is better than rakes I have bought from the big name stores. I do a lot of gardening and I am glad I found this quality rake.

This is a well-built rake with a nice sturdy handle that is securely connected to the rake tip. It is not too heavy to be hard to use but has enough weight to help in getting into the ground, or just to pick up leaves, etc. It has a long enough length so an average height person like me doesn't have to bend too much to use it. I think it will last me a long time.

I was surprised by how heavy this rake is, but then I figured it would be easier if raking dirt and such. The color is a very dark blue (almost black). I like how the handle is made; it has a grip at the top and another grip in the middle of the rake, which is where your hands will be when raking. That was nicely thought out. The tines are sturdy. This will be very useful in the garden!
