The quality is much nicer than I'd expected for the price. Our jobs gobble our time, so we had our handyman put it together. At first he said, "OMG, lots of pieces!" but after checking, he said all pieces were there with a few spares of the hardware, and once he got it together, he claimed it wasn't as complicated as he had first assumed. It took him about 6-7 hours. I'm using it as an island. It's as high as my counters - a perfect height for prep work when standing and a lot of room to sit at with a stool. The surface is smooth and sturdy, though you shouldn't cut directly on it - no problem for me as I always use a cutting board anyhow for easier clean-up. The shelves will be used to store paper plates and bowls and my daily dishes. I'm adding baskets on the bottom shelves because they are close to the ground where dust could collect. If wanted, it could be used as a breakfast bar with two stools. Very pleased with this purchase! It looks beautiful! ... show more

This is a solid piece and looks great when assembled. I also found that the assembly process went well - I have a full set of hex drives, I recommend one for this since the ones provided are frustrating. I also had an issue with a damage with the shipping and the seller sent a replacement piece quickly and at no charge. I recommend this island. ... show more

Well made and perfect for what I needed. Lots of storage and room for people to sit. When I unpacked it, my instructions were no where to be seen, but after messaging seller they quickly sent me an electronic version. Im very happy with the quick response. Im pleased with my purchase. Thank you.

Love it overall. The box was very heavy to get it in the house. The one down side was the instructions were a little hard to follow which caused errors. Not enough to make it unusable but definitely can tell. Will definitely need 2 people to assemble.

This island if heavy duty and we'll made. Well worth the $220 spent on it. It was fairly easy to put together but I had to use my own tools. This island will probably last 20 years.

    • Love the Look, Disappointed by the Final Piece
The FUXJUM 55" Kitchen Island with Seating & Storage is a beautiful piece of furniture that looks great in the kitchen. The design is stylish, and the overall quality of the materials is good. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing because the final piece did not fit properly at all, leaving the island unfinished. We reached out to the seller, and they were super nice, responsive, and willing to help. They sent a replacement piece to try to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, the replacement had the same problem and did not fit either. Despite the seller’s efforts and great customer service, we are now stuck with an unfinished piece of furniture that cannot be fully assembled. The island itself has great potential and is very nice to look at, but the fitting issue with the final component was frustrating. We appreciate the seller’s kindness and willingness to make it right, but the product still needs improvement in terms of quality control and accurate sizing of the parts. ... show more
