We finally NEEDED to get him a desk one day and in a pinch, this was the first affordable desk I saw so I got it. I am so glad I did. I like the size. I was skeptical about the separate pieces of the desk top but that has worked out well. The build quality is not great. There should have been screws that included dried loc-tite or a bottle of thread-locker in the kit. Several of the threaded inserts were too deep for the provided screws to actually reach and pull the insert up to lock it in. That's Amazon though, shuttling Chinese products with sub-par build quality. That being said, for the price it's pretty good. The motor is noisy but obviously that only applies when moving it up and down. I'm 6'2" and it goes high as I'd like so that might be helpful information to people. ... show more

I have been wanting a sit down stand up desk for a long time. I work from home and sometimes it's just nice to have the ability to stand. This desk was not too difficult to put together, me and a friend put it together pretty quick. I really like the ability to have settings for my desk height, just know that if the display gets an error you will have to unplug and reset your settings. The quality is really nice for the price. I like the desk itself, the surface is sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, after 6 weeks the desk would not go up or down, and I had an error code that apparently no one could help with. Just hours after I posted a negative review I was contacted by the seller and they worked continuously to solve my problem, and even sent additional parts just in case. 5 minutes after I received the defective part the desk was working perfectly.
