The media could not be loaded. It’s far from “extra large” my ragdoll still loves it because he likes small spaces, but describing it as extra large is misleading. For the $80 I paid I’m happy with it, but for a tree that would run probably $200+ directly from the company the quality is not worth that. The $70 one I have from chewy is much bigger and better quality. The carpet is very thin and snags easily, so it probably won’t last long with a playful cat. And the seams and staples on the poles don’t line up so it’s hard to hide them in the back. ... show more

I have two cats and I bought this a few months ago. Usually the scratch posts are non existent after that time frame but they’re still holding up! They absolutely love it and so do I. Super easy to put together too!

    • Sent the wrong cat tree
I ordered this purple cat tree but was sent the Dream Paradise cat tree that is made by the same brand. The order issue may be an amazon thing but because they are from the same company I am assuming quality is similar for both products. Firstly, it's a cute cat tree, even though it's not the one I ordered, and frankly my cat doesn't care. It is pretty big, only the top bed is a little small for my bigger cat (around 11 lbs). Assembly wasn't too hard although there were few issues that came up when building that were definitely design flaws. Sometimes the holes wouldn't match up perfectly so the screws would only screw in part of the way. Also the holes were not quite big enough for the screws so I did have to punch through the material a little bit. The tree was pain to attach just because of the placement of the screws. The part that attaches the house to the structure is too small and will not fit all the way around the pole, so I was only able to attach one side of it. There are a few places where it won't screw in all the way (the house and the longer bottom support pole). Keep in mind that this is for a different product, but it is the same brand. Overall it's cute, my cat likes it, she mostly fits in it, and it pretty much supports her. The issues are not that bad to where I want to go through the hassle of returning it but they are something to keep in mind. ... show more

After putting together majority of the tree, we found out that the last piece was broken. I love the tree but I have to rate it so low because it’s broken and I’m scared it will fall apart once my cats use it.

The media could not be loaded. My cat seems to like it. He was climbing in to play before we were done assembling it. He is an adult but has a little smaller body size, so I would use caution if you have a cat with a larger body. He fits through the top hole pretty easily, but he looks kind of squished trying to turn around between the poles on the second level from the top. It feels sturdy for climbing and jumping, even with a larger cat. This cat tree was pretty easy to assemble. My 7 year old helped, but someone could do it alone. The most difficult part is lining up the different pieces to screw them together. Leave the lower piece a little loose before you attach the next layer then go back to tighten it. The fabric is very soft. I found myself petting it while reviewing the instructions. Only time will tell on it's durability. Due to the unique shapes of the boards, it will be more difficult to recover later if needed. The gray piece with the star cut outs is already snagging from my cat playing. It's pretty thick, so I'm hopeful it could just be trimmed with a fabric shaver if it starts looking scraggly. My main complaint is the color scheme. Obviously I ordered it knowing it's purple. It's super cute, but it looks like it belongs in a little kid's bedroom rather than an adult's living room. ... show more
