There are so many tampers out there on the market. They range from affordable to break the bank expensive. I chose this one for it's affordability as well as the features. It has a very simple adjustable pressure feature, so you can get a perfect tamp. It works absolutely perfect with my 51mm portafilter. It makes a really smooth puck.

I originally thought this would spring back after reaching a certain weight of pressure, but this is not the case, you can only adjust how far it pushes down. Still works good regardless of this fact.

This is one of those more rare products that is available for a good value, works well, and looks good while doing it. This does a fine job of working as a tamper for my Bambino Plus and I appreciate that I can adjust the dept. Pros: Good value Looks great Works well Cons: None so far

I have never owned or used a spring loaded tamper before so Im not really sure what is good and what is bad but this doesn't perform the way I was hoping. It's adjustable by screwing handle in or out. The difference isn't huge no matter where it's set at. I was expecting a very distinctive click indicating you hit the correct pressure but it really just moves about a 16th of an inch and once it does that, you are there, and it's Kind of hard to tell. There were no instructions included so I really don't know what the settings mean. It's supposed to be a 30 pound tamper, but the setting numbers are 6-14. I will say if you treat it as non spring loaded tamper it's pretty nice. it's heavy, feels good, looks good, and fits my porta filter perfectly.
