These are pretty thin & not intended to be reusable. We use one to plug in the pool cleaner when the water is freezing cold (pools in winter still need filtering). If our hands don't come in contact with the water itself, our hand & arm don't get as cold and recover much more quickly. It's a lot cheaper than heating the pool just to perform maintenance on it. Because we're not using these on an animal, we do not hesitate to reuse one until we ruin it. :)

First, I am not a veterinarian. I do, however, own a house with poison ivy creeping in aggressively. I knew I had to do something. My experience has been that even with gardening gloves the plant juice sprinkles over my arms as I pull on this bane of my house and yard and poof: poison ivy revenge. It is miserable. Watching the Incredible Dr. Pol gave me the idea of the gloves to protect my arms. Now the gloves were NOT designed to be used as gardening gloves scraping against rocks, dirt, concrete, and tree bark. I put on a pair of gloves before donning these vet gloves. It worked. I didn't get any juice on me or a long sleeved shirt I would have to throw away. It may not be a great idea to everyone, but I am so happy with my purchase! Strip off my glove and pop open a cold bottle of diet soda without having to decontamination first! It's the small things in life.

If you’re thinking of using these for aquarium cleaning, look elsewhere. They leak horribly - I used multiple gloves and each one filled with water to some degree. Several of them were completely full of water , others leaked a smaller amount. None kept my hands dry
