I hesitated for a while to spend the money on these things because I wasn't sure if they were worth it. They are! Such good quality. Positively locking connections that are truly solid. No slop/ excess play in moving parts. Thick-walled plastic. Water-tight, adequate mounting hardware, no manufacturing defects. Spring return on the locking collar is strong as well. My only criticism is that the set screws are a little small for clamping/ pressing down on the wires. They dig into the strands more than I would like to see. Great purchase. ... show more

Very very easy to install. It has 2 terminals on the back that don't require any soldering. Each terminal has 2 screws that tighten the wire ends firmly into the terminal. I installed 1 end onto my trolling motor, using post 1 for positive and post 2 for negative. The posts are labeled on the connector to help prevent crossing wires. After I tested it with my trolling motor, I was so pleased with the outcome I ordered a 2nd one and mated it to the end of my trolling motor battery charger. Now everything up front can use that plug :) ... show more
