first the app for this one worked right off a nd had no connection issues. I have only tested it out setting up start and end times. mainly our dog is outside during the days only so this is for him in his dog house from 7 am to 7 pm. this way he can stay wram when he wants. I was hoping that this would work for my chicken coop with 22 hens but kept getting motor fault errors on my phone the very next day it was installed. I went to the coop to find EE errors on the heater. I unplugged and plugged it back in only for this to happen again later that night. After taking down the heater thinking it was faulty, found the screen in the back was covered with dust. I have recently blown out the coop but we use Diatomaceous on the floor under the bedding for mites. Chicken coops are inherently very dusty from the chickens. This heater is not going to work but will probably be great for dogs or anything else but chicken coops. ... show more

This product works as advertised. Seems well built, and functions as it should. My concern is that an element style heater could get hair or debri in it and catch fire. The grill has large openings much larger than other heaters, and I'd feel safer using a chicken coup heater. It's easy to install and use.
