We've all had water balloons that have tiny holes in them, rip when you try to fill them, or pop when you take them off the faucet/hose. Or, they are so tough that they bounce off a person when you throw them. These balloons haven't had any of those issues, and the kids have LOVED them. They are really thin, but super-stretchy. When you fill them, they don't rip or pop, they just stretch (you have to support them when filling). EASY to tie because you can stretch 3 or 4 inches of neck to tie (my 8-year old ties her own). Considering the crappy nature of most water balloons, these are by far the most dependable ones I’ve wielded. In battle, they can break in your hands if you’re being too rough, but I much prefer this to having to throw out my shoulder in order to pop the balloons on a defenseless victim. Although “biodegradable,” I plan on picking up most of the latex out of my yard anyway. Not trying to flex, just have nothing better to do. Great price for amount of balloons but Not good for anything besides water balloons or dart games. Too tiny & Thin for parties or balloon pump toy for kids.

HUGE fan of these water balloons! They’re just the right amount of sturdy and splashy- you can make small ones that will roll on the ground- regular sized ones that will break on contact and giant ones that are a bit more precarious but still stand until they hit the target. In the whole pack of 500 there were 4 that had a bad lip that had to be unrolled. Zero holes, zero breakage upon filling (minus some human error to see how big we could get them. Answer- VERY big.) I bought these balloons for an engineering competition with water we host yearly. This year the teams had to design a human powered pump to fill water balloons that would be used for corn hole. These balloons were perfect. They withstood the abuse of being filled quickly, being tossed 2 times at 10 ft each and then a final 15 foot toss to the corn hole board. We needed durable balloons that could withstand the abuse of being tossed but then break upon impact with the corn hole board. These did just that. These balloons are not sturdy enough to hold water. They broke before I even had them off the faucet. Please don't waste your money.

These water balloons are just like the ones I remember from my childhood. The ones we've bought at the store in previous years for my kids are weak, only hold half a cup of water, and frequently burst while filling. These hold 2 cups or more, and rarely break until you want them to. The number of balloons you get is also alot for the price. ... show more
