Bought a house that had a 4' wooden fence that was topped with a 2' section of chickenwire (keeps deer out). Over time the 2x4's framing chicken wire had rotted and chicken wire sagged / distorted. So replaced fencing planks, and then ran this cable through the 4x4 posts replacing the chickenwire. The wire cutter included is fantastic. Makes clean / easy cuts - previously had used smaller bolt cutter - which did not make such crisp cuts. Never had a problem with cable fitting into the swage connections, or passing through the sleeves. Cable wire looks great at top of fence, and contributes to a 100% improvement in the top of the garden fence.

Really good spool of marine-grade 1/8" cable, not too thick to work with. Heavier gauges get tougher to "convince" to go where you want them, but this one is pliable enough to work. Really happy that cutters were included. This will be part of my deck shade project.

Plenty of cable and bonus cutters too. I used this to hang my Staghorn ferns, making 4 way baskets and joining them at the top. The cutters work good if you have the strength to use it. Cut off what you need, use the cable for all your needs, and you wont be disappointed. Good value.

I used this to string a set of 100' lights across my deck and its holding without issue even in our high winds. The cable looks good and i havent seen any deterioration with the cable being out in the sun/snow all day everyday. The cable is 1/8 and works great with all sorts of connectors that fit 1/8 cable. Just make sure you have a good way to crimp the connectors so that it doesnt slip out. The color of the cable seems to be decent resistant to the weather and looks good. As for the strength of the cable it has withstood 50mph winds and some ice load on it which is more than most will ask of it. This 7 strand wire will work great for railing, lights, or anything else you need a solid cable attachment to. The pricing is pretty fair and matches most market values for the same product.

Seeing this 100 foot offering, which included a tool for cutting the stubborn stuff, I pulled the trigger. Not too much to say about this cable: It is 1/8", my magnet shows little interest in it and the "cutterr" works as expected.
