Using it on a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Ltd Came with 2 fobs. Easy install. Reason we purchased this item as some accessories were not turning off when turning off the car and that was draining the battery dead continuously. Obviously an electrical issue. So for this kill switch on the fob you turn off when turning car off and turn on just prior to starting car. Works great, no more dead battery and probably saved us a lot of money for a electrical repair on this much older vehicle. ... show more

Company is lacking in service. Both the 360/500 amp are junk. Product was defective and they are no help at all. Hooked it all up and seemed to work. Checked it the next day after installed and it was still on. Tried to turn off and would not turn off. Disconnected it from battery and reconnected it again then turned it on and it would turn on then not turn back off. Seems like the relay inside is not working. Reached out to seller to see what they can do. Update after messaging seller all they said is there is a delay in turning off or on. I guess they did not see where i put it will not no matter how long you wait. ... show more

Just installed. So I can't give a lengthy or in depth review. But I can say the instructions needed more clarity. And also there was a little bit of flimsyness with the box. I caught myself trying to put it back together while trying to bolt the negative terminal to it All YouTube videos were of slightly different products. Or users modifying them. The only way I was really able to know the correct wiring for THIS product was Amazon reviews and their photos. So thanks to the Amazon community.   • Perfect as a kill switch any classic car or truck!

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to install a kill switch on my 1979 Ford F-150 without having to be super intrusive and ruining my original wiring harness. Found this and gave it a try. Install was super easy, took no more than 5 minutes, the remote fob is easy to use, and now I can take my ride anywhere without fear of someone stealing my ride as the switch kills power to the entire truck (meaning hot wiring isn't going to work). A serious must have for any classic car or truck if you want to have a kill switch without having to mess with all the wiring. ... show more

  • No instructions and no red wire protection cap

No instructions and no red wire / post protection cap what do I mean with plastic red cap (like other on amazon) -- the battery wires are exposed to the area it is mounted in. In the engine (near the battery) bay the two terminals from the battery (+ wired) are exposed to any metal /tools etc., dropped in the mounting location - wrench, eye glasses, etc.. In turn could cause a fire and shock. In addition the spacing of the posts is very close with a tiny plastic separator that does not separated or isolates the two posts by anything but air and a tiny 1/4 inch high protrusion from the main housing leaving the 90% of the + posts exposed. I have not used / installed it yet, but and it says it can be used for either positive or negative side disconnect. I have now instilled the unit and it does respond to the key fob and transfer power, however the unit must stay on all the time while driving -- is that a good thing? [not the best way] It would be better if it was a latching type relay. That way it consumes less power or no power when on. Should I wire it with out instructions ? 30 days is not enough time for evaluation; as the other person said he had trouble in the winter with starting ....... furthermore, the small wires that go to ground and a 12 volt + source; the ring on the end of the red wire did not fit on the + side of the top post of the unit - as this was the closest 12 volt + supply - the ring had to be filed to a larger opening to fit the post. Also the two copper stakeons that are supplied must be soldered, as crimping would most likely not hold on to the # 4 wire firmly, also the copper stakon did not fit the stud on the terminal box where the Alternator is connected, it also had to be filed to accommodate the stud. ... show more
