This is an excellent generator. I bought it for emergencies. We have frequent short outages here in the mountains. I read many of the reviews and went for it. I was very careful, removed the red brackets securing the base for transport added the oil 1/2 a quart of 10W-30, filled with just under 2 gallons of NON-ETHANOL 90 octane gas, turned the fuel shutoff clockwise to open, pushed the choke lever all the way to the right, pulled the starter cord and it started easily on the first pull, then pushed the choke lever all the way to the left and it ran perfectly. Ran a power tool also tested the eco button which idles it down when there is no load. I think if you follw these steps you will have no trouble. Excellent buy for the money ! ... show more

This is a great generator, can't beat it for the price. It fired right up within a few pulls. Doesn't come with oil, but no big deal. I put 10w-30 in it (600ml). Someone said the manual is bad but my manual is great, gives necessary details. It's a little loud (100db next to it and about 75db at 30ft away- not too bad) and it seems very similar to other generators I've had. Upon break-in, it ran 9.6 hours at full power on a tank of fuel (approx 2 gal). Then I changed the oil and put it away for an emergency. Very happy with it and thinking about getting another one for my daughter and her family. Note: The choke label is backwards/opposite, but was easy to figure out. It's been the same on many Chinese engines I've purchased in the past, so I'm used to it. ... show more

I unpacked it and removed the brackets holding it for shipping. I filled it with oil and ran it for an hour break-in under various loads, and then changed the oil. I used it for a full working day down at camp. It ran my salamander heater and every power tool that I had hooked up to it without an issue. It didn’t even use two tanks full of gas. It was relatively quiet. For the money, it seems to have been a decent purchase. Obviously, it’s Chinese. We’ll see how it lasts, but for now, it seems to fill the bill. I bought it to keep my oxygen running when I have a black out. It did just that and also charged my batteries up so I could shut it down at night. You have to buy oil for it before use. Starts good.not a lot of noise good for the price

Starts 1-2 pulls. Runs smooth. Because of the gas use it will be number 2 backup, the 2500’s that I have, sip fuel. Excellent product.

Started without a choke on the third pull. I did not try to load it to full 3600 W, but it powers my tools without any issues. I am planning on keeping in in my truck as I have much more powerful generator for the emergency house power.
