I especially the Economy mode, It seems like all Generators runs excessive fast like It's going to explode until switched to economy mode then It's quiter Not so Irritating Not only In regular mode It runs hotter and sometimes stops running a heavy load but runs everything just fine In economy mode microwave oven and everything else, and of course the price Is reasonable unlike what the local stores sells. I used Castol GTX 10 W 30 for 2 to 5 hours for break In then drain Oil then replace with Castro Edge 10 W 30 and I always check Oil level and keep It completely full before use. ... show more

So on June 23 2026 my area was hit with a bad storm taking out our power. It started right up This Generator was a workhorse. It ran 3 house sump pumps, 2 refrigerators, 2 house fans, tv, and modem. This was the first since March it was used on a storm. The power restored on 6-26. The generator ran none stop except for refueling off course with little effort. This is a great generator so far. Breaking it in as we speak and it's been running like a champ. Started on first pull and didn't even have to pull very hard. Really liking the ECO mode, quiets it down a good bit. Oh and for those that say the choke is backwards its actually not. The sticker is backwards not the choke lol. ... show more

This is an amazing price for this generator, with free shipping. Starts first pull, and remember to break it in properly. In hurricane prone areas a must. Easy start up, usually first pull. Will last a long time if you just follow a few steps after your done using it and returning to storage. Drain fuel tank and carbeurator, and actually swab out inside of tank in its low area around shutoff, drain carb thru drain screw. after carb and tank dry, pull spark plug, and drop in about 1/2 ounce Lucas upper cyl lube, or marvel mystery oil ,, pull cord five times to disperse protection oil,You can also use plain engine oil if that’s all you have. Put spark plug back. Also always try to purchase ethyl free gas if possible. pull cord lightly till feel resistance ofcompression stroke ,this closes valves protecting cylinder from moisture and rust. Guarantee in a year putting fresh fuel in it will start on first or second pull. A bit of work, but you just protected your investment, and when storm hits, yo know it will start. ... show more

This is an excellent generator. I bought it for emergencies. We have frequent short outages here in the mountains. I read many of the reviews and went for it. I was very careful, removed the red brackets securing the base for transport added the oil 1/2 a quart of 10W-30, filled with just under 2 gallons of NON-ETHANOL 90 octane gas, turned the fuel shutoff clockwise to open, pushed the choke lever all the way to the right, pulled the starter cord and it started easily on the first pull, then pushed the choke lever all the way to the left and it ran perfectly. Ran a power tool also tested the eco button which idles it down when there is no load. I think if you follw these steps you will have no trouble. Excellent buy for the money ! ... show more

It took some trouble shooting because the choke can be finicky. But once I found the sweet spot, it worked great. It's louder than I thought it would be but overall it is fine.
