When I purchased the kindle fire 10 I did not buy extra storage at that time as I didn't think I would need it, but my granddaughter was allowed to use it and she downloaded every game and other children's stories this brought the kindle to a screeching halt and had to reset it to factory to use it. I had storage at home that had the same requirement as the kindle docs asked for but when I put it in the kindle rejected it so I went to the internet to look at the one advertised with it, read the reviews in the one star report I found consumers saying it didn't work. So I went back to the internet and read up on storage chips which gave me search parameters for a faster functioning chip looked at price and reviews and found this storage chip which I ordered and put into the kindle, it worked flawlessly and am happy with it. I had to change my review. It worked just fine for a month or two, now I'm having all sorts of issues with it. I use it in my Alasko camera. It records footage and pictures to it just fine, but now I can't copy the files off of the card. I can view them, but not copy either direct from the card or thru a mini usb cable to my computer. Of course now its too late to send it back too. I wouldn't take the chance with it again. ... show more

Originally was working awesome and tripled my storage. NOW, couple weeks later...all it says is "Reinsert memory card or click forget. If you click forget, everything will be erased." SUPER FRUSTRATED. Calling Amazon tomorow after work as I've now tried EVERYTHING on my end to rescue problem to no avail, to see if still refund eligible!! ... show more

I wanted to use this with a Raspberry Pi. But it didn't work. Effectively it is read only. It let me write to it once, but after that I couldn't make any changes. It sees the file system but will not make any changes. Even low level dd commands fail to change it. I noticed someone else reported a similar error in windows. You get what you pay for.
