    • Dimensions are not the same as usable space
It came early, well packaged, and as expected. The self dimensions, as a whole, were correct, which was an inches or so larger than my intended purpose, however, i did not account for the poles. So while the dimensions are correct, the dimensions of actual useful space (because of the bars) is less. I opened the box, placed my item on the shelf at the top of the box, realized that the size was too small for my needs once assembled and returned it, so I did not actually use the item or build it. I have many shelves of this type. It is a basic and common design and I have absolutely no doubt that this product has easy assembly and durability just as the others I have purchased. The lesson I took was that although I've used the same type of shelving for random items, if I'm using it for a specific purpose with an item of set dimensions, be aware that the shelf dimensions include the poles so the actual usable dimensions of the shelves are smaller ... show more

I'm not quite as happy with this shelf unit as I am the one I bought from Walmart. It is reasonably easy to put together, but lacks the solid sturdiness I wanted. It will do for now, but I'm sure we'll have to replace it in the near future.
