Extremely rough after cutting, I weaved double layered furry yarn around the border just to work with it. I love that it includes equally thick wire to weave pieces together! Unless you are wearing thick leather gloves you will probably cut your hands (not too deep) when working with this as I did, (I’m 29 and they healed in a couple weeks, probably could have been sooner). Though it is good quality, it is exceptionally difficult not to injure oneself. But it did its job and beyond (with the included connecting wire) so I give it its star back for that. Wear gloves tho (even if you think you’ll be fine).
