I have never heard of NIHAO or have owned any of their tools before getting this polisher. I have always preferred to buy name brands that have a standardized battery platform and readily available parts and service. This is fine until you get to a project that requires a tool that I may only use once or twice a year. Then I can't justify spending upwards of $250 on the same tool that uses the batteries I already own. This little polisher really surprised me. It worked really well and the whole unit was very easy to hold and handle. The thinner girth of the rear handle really makes for extended use less fatiguing. The front grip give you more control when you need it. I have even found myself holding onto the middle like a palm sander when I'm working on a wide open flat area like a hood or roof of the car. The batteries don't last as long as I would like but that goes back to the cost of the whole unit. This whole package costs less than one of the 12V replacement batteries that goes with my name brand power tools. Between the two batteries, I can work for quite a while before both batteries need to be charged. For me, I still have a corded polisher that I use so this isn't my exclusive polisher. This tool is really for those smaller, tighter or awkward areas where my full sized corded polisher has difficulties getting into without possibly causing damage. For a tool that I seldom use it was worth the retail price of $50 to help me complete this project quicker and easier. Most importantly any damage I would have caused with my large polisher would have cost more than the cost of this whole tool.. The included pads are passable and usable, but that will really depend on your job. I had to get some matching pads to the ones I already use so that the finish all over the car would be consistent.

Torqie and the speed control worked well. Don't recommend using it as a sander. The pad is larger than the issued sandpaper. The other issue is the batteries charge slowly. For me this is fine because I use it for touch-up work on speaker cabinets.

This little polisher will certainly do just that, polish; but it doesn’t seem to have enough gusto for the big jobs. And it comes with yet another “Type “ charger to add to your collection. It steps up speed in 8 increments, but is difficult to shut off. And it slows to a stop not stopping quickly. It came with several pads and a useless plastic/vinyl apron. It didn’t include any type of carry bag. So you’re stuck without anything to store the extra accessories, batteries and charger. And instructions are nonexistent.

The media could not be loaded. This thing has really good amount of power it starts from one it goes up to setting 9 for speed and you're still able to control the the polisher itself. I know I've used polishers in the past for buffers electric ones and you move just a little bit you got to have constant pressure on it but yet not a whole lot so it doesn't just take off on you this one has a lot of power but yet the way it's designed it's very easy to hold it won't slip from your hands unless you let go of it you got the readout right in front of you you can control it right in front of you so you can see what speed and if your battery is running low at all times when you're using it and it comes with two batteries so no need to stop and recharge you can continue on take one out put the other one in and you're good to go it's a nice set it comes with the the polishing pads and some sand paper as well. But when I was doing the video it was kind of hard for me to see I kept hitting the off button kept turning it off instead of hitting the pick up the speed button instead of increasing the power I brought the power all the way down to zero in the video so but it goes up to setting nine which is pretty pretty fast I'll probably never have to use it that fast but in case I do it's there again this is portable you can take it and work on whatever you want to work on your car if you're polishing your car outside in the garage you don't need a plug which makes it great it's cordless and I definitely recommend it. I did some Sanding on one of my doors and it did a great job again it didn't try to take off on me just mild pressure it's lightweight but yet it's solid so it's easy to control for that I recommend it.
